- Hell’s Gate National Park - Begin the day with a morning pick-up at 7:00 am from your hotel or residence in the Nairobi area and set off for Hell’s Gate National Park, making stops at the picturesque Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrive around 9:30 am and embark on a two-hour biking tour. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya’s smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot. Enjoy a bicycle ride among gracefully grazing gazelles, larger antelopes, zebras, and giraffes for a truly delightful experience.
Proceed to Naivasha Marina Camp for lunch at 1:00 pm (at your own expense).
- Crescent Island Game Park - At 2:00 pm, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to Crescent Island Sanctuary for a unique walk with wildlife. The sanctuary is home to giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, and hippos, among other wildlife you are likely to encounter at the conservancy. Bird species include fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters, and many more.
Later, at 5:00 pm, depart for Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your hotel or residence.

Hell’s gate is one of the world’s park where you can walk and ride bicycle while watching animals. While in lake Naivasha boat ride our captain will explain to you different bird species and you will see hippos. Get up close with wildlife and be on the lookout for the park’s amazing species.

Top Notch - We had a wonderful experience. We saw a lot of animals and had excellent guides. A special shoutout to Jane. She was amazing. Particularly recommending we ride there and Jane arrange to have our bikes picked up at the end of the ride. It saved us a lot of time and headache. Riding back the way we originally planned would have ruined our visit to Crescent Island. Thank you very much!

Fabulous day in nature! - We had a fabulous day with Jane! She let us have a later start time as we had attended a wedding the night before. She took us to Hells Gate, organized our bikes, and took care of all our transportation and entry fees for the day. She is funny and great to chat to. She had no reservations about suggesting we only bike the 8kms down to Hells Gate, instead of the 16km round trip which was definitely the right choice and greatly appreciated! She picked us up at the bottom and we drove by lots of sweaty, struggling tourists on the way back up. She took us back to our hotel for lunch, and to crescent island after lunch. Both spots were amazing for wildlife and such a nice way to do some physical activity, while still seeing animals, before our 3 day safari in Masai Mara. We definitely recommend her services!

Best day! - We used Africa Beast tour company for a full day of hells crater and crescent island. It was an amazing and memorable day and Jane was an amazing driver and guide. She promptly picked us up and kept us smiling throughout the day. Would highly recommend :)

Simply amazing! - It was a long day, but oh so worth it. It was amazing getting up so close to the wild animals. All the guides were incredibly knowledgeable and informative. I strongly recommend this trip!!!
Special shout to Stephen (my driver for the day), Victor at the Hells Gate cycle hire and (Captain) Kevin for the tour around Lake Naivasha - lovely, lovely people. Thank you again, guys!
Note for future trip-goers: take water or there are plenty of places to buy it along the way, and prepare yourself for a long day travelling on some pretty bumpy tracks and roads.

An Amazing Day Tour from Nairobi to a National Park that is less busy! - What a lovely day. David picked us up promptly at our Hotel in Nairobi and drove us to Lake Naivasha. He was professional, friendly and an excellent driver. He gave us lots of information about the area. (Kenyan roads are like no other you will encounter!!). Our tour guide on Cresant Island was amazing! We learned so much and saw lots of Hippos. The bike ride in Hells Gate was really fun and we saw Zebra and Giraffes. A great day well spent.

Don't ask. Just try and experience. - My friend, Isaac.. he was a really good gentleman. I learned lots of things from him to understand about Kenya. Of course, he guided me very well during the trip.

A great day out - We had a fantastic day at Hells Gate. Isaac and Innocent were excellent guides.
The bike ride is great, and you are able to get pretty close to zebras, impala and other animals. If you take the boat trip, you’ll get the chance to see dozens of hippos.
Lunch is good. Remember you will have to pay for it separately.

Magical adventure - The journey was incredible, like in a moovi with very kind and professional people from top to bottom perfect tour ✨️ I had a chance to see many animals, explore the wildlife, discuss with everyone who was sharing experiences warmly and I felt like so much joy and guided from wonders to wonders all day !!
