A Must-Do Experience: Kibera Slum Tour - Visiting Kibera Slum was a truly eye-opening experience. Rally is a great guide — he shares genuine local perspectives and answers every question with patience and honesty. He also introduced me to the NGO he works with, which is doing incredible work — supporting 130 children with education and running programs to provide girls with essential pad supplies. A meaningful and impactful tour that should not be missed.

rewarding visit - My daughter and I visited Kibera, it was not only very interesting but also feel like we did something good for some of them. The money paid for this visit, helps the association to run a small school of 130 children of the slum, to follow a free schooling. This may allow them to lead a slightly better life in the future. We had taken candy from Belgium to distribute, maybe it is better to buy it in Kenia, so we help local merchants and we could have bought more with the same amount. I really recommend this visit which is safe, which will open your eyes and perhaps put your own worries into perspective.

Slum walking tour, visited a home, school and the markets as well one of the rivers that flows through the slum. - Doing this tour was incredibly worthwhile. I kind of knew what I was signing up for, however walking through the slums and seeing the living conditions of over 1 million people in person was eye opening. I left feeling incredibly grateful for everything I have. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to broaden their world view and experience the largest slum in Africa. The tour guide Rally was very knowledgeable and professional. Was a top bloke 🙌

Best personal tour! - Rally was incredible! Kind and informative and showed all the areas. Please be prepared to bring cash with you to purchase snacks at the local stores and hand out to kids. There are also opportunities to buy and eat local foods if you want to try and you will need cash. If you want to buy water at the stores you will need cash as well. Bring at least 2000-3000 KES and also tip Rally.

Recommended / This tour is recommended - Rally was a really good guide! It was a very safe tour. You can walk around the slums with confidence, ask questions of the guides and gain their knowledge. On the way, we stopped at one local souvenir shop that sells traditional crafts, but shopping was not compulsory, the price was right, and most importantly, they carried cuter items than anywhere else.

Eye opening - It was such a great experience and I think that everyone should go do it while in the area if you can. Hon explained into detail the slum experience and trials they go through every day. He made the experience safe and unforgettable🙏
