- Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - Caretakers introduce each baby elephant orphan, sharing heartwarming stories of their rescues while the playful calves drink milk, roll in mud, wrestle with friends, or take dust baths. The one-hour session (11 a.m. to 12 noon) showcases the Trust’s essential work in nurturing these young elephants until they can return to wild herds.
- Giraffe Centre - Visitors to the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi will have the opportunity to see endangered Rothschild giraffes up close from elevated observation platforms. The site includes a peaceful 95-acre nature sanctuary perfect for birdwatching and spotting warthogs or bushbucks along wooded trails. Educational displays highlight giraffe conservation efforts, providing insights into the habitat and protection of these magnificent animals.

Nairobi layover national park visit - Our driver and guide Peter was very good, he was there waiting for us outside of departures, he was very informative about all the animals and birds we saw on our drive.
It was very cold in the morning, luckily we had just flown in from London so had warm clothing.
The elephant orphanage was very good and the Giraffe centre was very informative and we got to hand feed a couple of giraffes.

Park is amazing, thank you! - First time to Africa. Park and excursion well worth our time and Julius was a fantastic guide! We got to see animals I never thought I would seen in their natural habitat. Excellent experience and worth the price, thank you so much!

The experience could not... - The experience could not have been better. Julius knows his stuff and if you are a bit of a nerd he is the guide for you. His personal interest in the wildlife and personalableness meant this was a great day out. An interested, knowledgeable guide that is relaxed and good fun is the holy grail. The private tour was absolutely worth the flexibility. Can't recommend highly enough.

Excellent Nairobi National Park Safari - Just completed a fantastic safari at Nairobi National Park and couldn’t be more impressed!
Our guide was exceptional - knowledgeable, professional, and had an amazing ability to spot wildlife. The entire experience was seamlessly organized from start to finish, with no wasted time or confusion.
What really stood out was how much we managed to see in such a short timeframe. The guide knew exactly where to go, maximizing our wildlife sightings without feeling rushed. We saw an incredible variety of animals and learned so much about the ecosystem.
The service was worth every cent. Everything ran smoothly, and the quality of the experience far exceeded the price point.
Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic safari experience close to the city. Perfect for travelers with limited time who don’t want to compromise on quality!

The best choice - We really enjoyed the whole experience , Evans was exceptional and very informative , we saw lions , both white and black rhinos , buffalo from the big five , we enjoyed it all , highly recommended

One thing to note you still pay entrance into the parks and venues. So you’ll need to bring cash for the elephant orphanage

Great experience and highly recommended! - Absolutely enjoyed this tour! Out guide Evans was very knowledgeable and helpful, the Safari van was perfect for watching the animals. The elephant sanctuary was a bit crowded but still a special experience. Note that it makes sense to download the Kenya citizen app before you leave and book your ticket to the park to save time and also take cash money for the elephant sanctuary entrance fee.

Excellent private tour - Excellent experience. Julius our guide was kind and knowledgeable. The vehicle was comfortable to tour in all day. We were able to see a ton of wildlife on our safari drive and accomplish all that we wanted for the day.

Excellent tour! Great option for a long Nairobi layover. - Excellent tour! We had a long layover on 7/12 in Nairobi and decided to make the most of it with this tour. I wish I could remember our tour guides name - he was exceptional! He knew so much about the plants, animals, and history of Nairobi and the national park. Cannot speak highly enough of his knowledge and skill. He helped us find an amazing view of Rhinos (the animal that we were most excited to see) and clearly knew the best places to spot animals. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone in the area. Pickup and dropoff at the airport was very smooth.
