Samburu National Reserve - Begin your journey from Nairobi at 7:00 AM, traveling through central Kenya and the northern Laikipia district. There will be several stops for photography along the way. Arrive at Samburu Game Reserve by 1:00 PM, just in time for lunch at your lodge. At approximately 3:00 PM, embark on your first game drive, exploring the rugged terrain and searching for the unique wildlife that inhabit this area.

Samburu Reserve

Shaba National Reserve - Spend the entire day in Samburu with both morning and afternoon game drives. Start the early sunrise game drive from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Return to the camp for breakfast and some relaxation. Enjoy some leisure time at the lodge before lunch. After lunch, begin your afternoon sunset game drive at 3:00 PM. Discover and appreciate Samburu’s sparse vegetation, where spotting animals against the arid landscape is easier, enhancing your game viewing experience. Keep an eye out for the Special Five - the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, and gerenuk. Back at the lodge, relish the breathtaking views, possibly observing wildlife from the comfort of your room.

Nairobi - Delight in an early morning safari game drive, followed by a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, then depart for the return journey to Nairobi by road.
