Nairobi to Hell’s Gate National Park to Lake Naivasha National Park
Hell’s Gate National Park - The safari driver guide will meet guests at their Nairobi city hotel and drive them northwest to Lake Nakuru. A brief stop will be made at a viewpoint to admire the Great Rift Valley from a high vantage point. Arrival at Hell’s Gate is expected by mid-morning, where a 2-hour biking tour will commence. Alternatively, guests may choose to drive through the park. Wildlife sightings may include Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Giraffes, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys, and Porcupines, among others. The park is also a significant habitat for the rare lammergeyer vultures. At 11 am, guests will explore the gorges for an hour, capturing stunning views of the narrow land depressions that can be walked beneath. By 12 pm, bikes will be returned at the gate, with a visit to the Maasai community along the way. Lunch is scheduled for 1 pm at Naivasha Fisherman’s Camp (at guests’ own expense).
Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi
Lake Nakuru - Following breakfast, guests will head to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. The park is home to Giraffes, Waterbucks, Black and White Rhinos, Buffalo, Lions, and Leopards, among other wildlife. The lake’s shores are lined with thousands of Flamingos feeding on algae. Lunch will be served at Buraha Zenoni Resort or a similar lodge. After lunch, the journey back to Nairobi will commence, with an expected arrival around 5 PM.
