This iconic 28-story building is situated on Harambee Avenue in Nairobi’s City Square. The rooftop of this skyscraper offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the city center and its surroundings. This vantage point allows visitors to truly appreciate the city’s beauty and intricate design.
The tour will then move to the Nairobi viewpoint at Uhuru Park, where visitors will learn about its historical importance to the Kenyan Nation-State.
Next, the tour will head to the Central Business District. As the group walks, the guide will share stories about Nairobi’s history, both pre- and post-independence. The tour will include visits to various landmarks, such as KICC and Kipande House, among others. -
Giraffe Centre - Visitors will be enthralled by the Rothschild giraffe in its semi-wild habitat, one of the three sub-species found in Kenya. Utamaduni Craft Centre - Following the exciting beads factory tour, the next stop is the Utamaduni Crafts Center. Known as the best African craft shop in Nairobi, Utamaduni is a must-visit on the way to some of the exciting venues in Nairobi’s green suburb of Karen/Langata, famous for the writer Karen Blixen’s original farm with beautiful views of the Ngong Hills. A visit to this unique house of crafts is a perfect addition to a day in Nairobi.
The shop, a converted Kikuyu house with 18 shops, is a treasure trove of African crafts, antiques, and art, with friendly staff ready to assist with packing or shipping if needed.
After shopping, visitors can enjoy refreshments in the large, beautiful garden restaurant, where bird watchers will be entertained by many exotic birds.

Visitors will enjoy the diverse culture of Kenya’s 53 ethnic communities through traditional folklore dances. Bomas of Kenya is dedicated to preserving, maintaining, and promoting the rich cultural values of all ethnic communities. Daily performances feature a selection of more than 30 traditional dances from different ethnic groups in Kenya, with highlights including the impressive performances of the Samburu and Maasai warriors.
