Rhino, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, lion and plenty of antelopes and gazelles can be seen roaming in this open plains country with a section of highland forest as well as stretches of broken bush country, deep, rocky valleys and gorges with scrub and long grass. Ornithologists catch with over 300 bird species including the Secretary bird, crowned cranes, vultures, peckers and many more.

Nairobi National Park, being the first of its kind in Kenya, is recognized for the distinctiveness of its untamed wildlife sanctuary located within the city’s view. Expect to witness a variety of animals such as rhinoceros, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, lion, antelopes, and gazelles wandering freely in this region of expansive grasslands. There are also pockets of highland forest and patches of fragmented shrubland. Scheduled itinerary is as follows: at 5:40 am, pick-up from pre-informed locations; by 7:45 am, arrival at Nairobi National Park for game drive and formalities; between 7:45 am and 10:20 am, enjoy the game drive within the park; at noon, the tour guide/driver will return you to a chosen location within the city. An optional lunch at Carnivore Restaurant can be arranged for an additional fee of 30 USD per person.
