You’ll then head to the Giraffe Centre, the headquarters of the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, renowned for “Daisy Rothschild,” a giraffe calf rescued from Soi, near the Western Kenya border. Daisy and her family are part of a small herd of these gentle giants living semi-wild at Giraffe Manor. Visitors will learn about their behaviors, traits, and conservation efforts. The giraffes approach a protective wall to be fed. Enhance your visit by exploring the Giraffe Centre nature trail leading to the Gogo River. This lesser-known path offers a captivating walk through nature, flanked by bushes and serenaded by birds. The trail takes about an hour at a leisurely pace. Entry fees to the Giraffe Centre are included. After the tour, you’ll be returned to your hotel.
