The education center provides extensive information about the breeding and conservation of Kenya’s rarest giraffe species. Discover their behaviors, traits, and more about conservation as you get up close on a raised observation platform.
- KOBE TOUGH beads & leather - The next stop is the Bead Factory, a pottery company renowned for creating some of the world’s most beautiful beads. Visitors are guided through all stages of production, from start to finish. This unique factory employs single mothers from impoverished neighborhoods, providing them with a livelihood to support their families. The pottery, ceramic, and bead factory exclusively employs single mothers to craft its exquisite gifts and souvenirs, which are exported worldwide. A gift shop is available, offering some of their products. Please note that the workshop is closed on Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday, but the gift shop remains open seven days a week.
