The day begins with an early pickup from your Nairobi hotel, followed by a journey to Mount Kenya National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for its stunning natural beauty. Arrival at the Naro Moru Gate is scheduled for 9:00 AM, where the hike commences.
Accompanied by an experienced guide, you’ll trek through lush rainforests, learning about the diverse flora and fauna. The park is home to elephants, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and Cape buffalos, among other wildlife. Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy spotting various beautiful species.
Around noon, the hike reaches the Meteorological Station, marking the point to begin the descent back down the mountain.
