Extraordinary honeymoon - My wife and I did the 10-day tour. We do not regret choosing this local agency. Our requests have always been handled quickly and efficiently, before and during our trip. We had Eliud as an advisor, who provided us with excellent advice tailored to our needs and made sure all the details were taken into account before we arrived in Kenya. She is a helpful and competent person who always responded quickly. Now let's talk about our guide. We were lucky enough to have Anthony as our guide for the whole ten days. She is a very warm and caring person who immediately puts people at ease. Anthony has a thorough knowledge of the flora and fauna of each park visited. Even outside the parks, he shared anecdotes about the history of places and objects he encountered along the way. His stories are fascinating. As for his driving, he is an excellent driver who has managed all journeys perfectly, both short and long, and has been able to adapt to different types of terrain and routes safely. As for the safari itself, Anthony knows how to find the best places and viewpoints, which was a great help given my passion for wildlife photography. We would also like to emphasize his deep respect for wildlife and animals encountered, a respect we share. This was a very important point for us. We would like to thank Daniel, the director, Eliud, our advisor, Anthony, our guide, and the entire Meektrails team for this extraordinary trip. We highly recommend this agency to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable safari experience in Kenya. See you soon! Matilde and Nicola Greco

An Unforgettable Kenyan Safari — Beyond Our Expectations - Our Kenyan safari was truly one for the books, and it all began the moment Dennis picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi. From the start, his warmth, punctuality, and deep knowledge set the tone for what would become an incredible journey. We must first mention how smooth and professional the entire experience with Meektrails Safari was. Pauline was extremely helpful throughout the booking process even before we reached Kenya. From patiently answering our questions to coordinating everything seamlessly, she made planning completely stress-free. When we arrived, the team welcomed us warmly and even gifted us safari hats and water bottles before the journey began — a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. Assigning Dennis as our guide was the cherry on top — he was superb throughout. Our first stop was Lake Naivasha, where we enjoyed a beautiful boat ride surrounded by stunning birdlife. Feeding the pelicans was such a fun and memorable experience. We stayed at Ziwa Bush Lodge that night — a wonderfully peaceful property with good food and a relaxing atmosphere that helped us recharge for the adventures ahead. The next morning, we headed early to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. Dennis was exceptionally patient and attentive to our wish list — especially our hope to spot the black rhino. Thanks to his persistence and sharp eye, we were able to see not only the black rhino but plenty of other wildlife as well. His dedication really stood out. Then came a fantastic surprise — we were upgraded to Lalashe Mara Ripoi, which is arguably one of the best camps we have ever stayed at. A big thank you to Meektrails Safari for this thoughtful upgrade. The wildlife experience began right at the camp itself, with giraffes welcoming us from a distance. Throughout the night, we could hear the sounds of the wild — especially hyenas and lions — which made the entire stay even more thrilling and authentic. Our journey to Lalashe in the evening took us through the Maasai conservancy, and even that drive felt like a mini safari with wildlife sightings along the way. After such a rewarding morning at Nakuru, we thought the day couldn’t get any better — but hearing both a hyena’s laugh and a lion’s roar that night proved us wrong. Needless to say, our excitement for the next day was through the roof. We started early for our full-day safari in the Masai Mara National Reserve, having breakfast at 6 AM before heading out. One of our biggest goals was to spot a leopard, knowing how elusive they can be among the Big Five. Although we were relying only on our phones and didn’t have professional cameras, Dennis made sure to position the vehicle perfectly so we could get incredibly close and still capture amazing moments. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were absolutely thrilled to see all of the Big Five — and even the “Ugly Five” of the Mara! On the second-last day, we again headed out for a full-day game drive through the conservancy. Early in the morning, we were lucky to spot a pride of lions with cubs — and the best part was that we had the sighting all to ourselves thanks to the private conservancy experience. We spent a long, magical time watching the cubs learn the ways of the wild up close. In the afternoon, we visited a Maasai village and met the Maasai people — which, as Dennis nicely joked, are the “Big Six” alongside the Big Five animals. Post lunch, we headed back into the wild and were amazed to spot the same pride again — this time with the male lion clearly visible. I know how hectic it can be to scramble late in the day trying to spot a cheetah — something we were very keen on — but Dennis didn’t disappoint. His persistence and experience ensured we got the sighting we were hoping for. On our final day, we drove back through the conservancy on our way to our hotel in Nairobi, soaking in the last glimpses of the beautiful landscape. Dennis made sure we enjoyed every moment of the vacation and took care of everything seamlessly from start to finish. We had the best experience with Meektrails and our tour guide Joseph. We saw lots of incredible wildlife. - We had an amazing experience with Meektrails! Everything from planning the tour, to arranging logistics was seamless and the team at Meektrails are super helpful. Our guide Joseph was the best and would highly recommend! From collecting us from our hotel at Nairobi, he was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions during the safari. He went above and beyond to meet all of our needs on the tour and was very flexible to give us a tailored experience that worked for us. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. The accommodation was also great with great views and immersion in nature. Thank you Joseph and Meektrails!

Unforgettable experience - Samuel was an absolute gem of a person. He took such good care of us and made us feel like family. I had expressed to him that I would like to see some big cats (cheetah and lion) and he went well out of his way to make sure we saw them. Words can not express the warmth and care this man had given us. As for the tour itself it’s wonderful. The zebra plains camp was breathtaking, I was sad to leave it so soon. If you have time for an extended trip with Meektrails and Zebra plains river camp make the effort to book it. Valentine also was extremely easy to book with and arrange with helping answer all my questions (I had a lot of questions) and ensuring to tailor our stay to our needs. In addition you can see that Meektrails have such a long standing good relationship with all their representatives in Maasai that you end up being given extra care. If you want to visit Maasai do it with Meektrails and if we end up coming here again I plan to book any other excursions with the same company. The value for money is fantastic.

Amazing 1st Time Safari Experience in Kenya - We had an amazing safari with Meektrails and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. In just 4 nights/5 days, we managed to visit three different parks plus an extra lake, which felt like incredible value and was perfectly planned. Our guide, Habil, was outstanding. Even though it was considered the off-season, he worked so hard to make sure we saw all the animals we were hoping for and we did. He clearly knows the parks inside and out and always seemed to know exactly where to go. We never felt rushed and every game drive was exciting. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and we felt well taken care of the entire trip. This safari completely exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend Meektrails and Habil to anyone thinking about doing a safari in Kenya. It was truly a trip of a lifetime.

A vacation to remember for ever - The trip was excellent and i was out of words to witness the kind of things we saw. Stays were fabulous with utmost care! No issues with the vehicle too..very comfortable and neat. My driver/ guide Sam was very patient and ensured he showed us everything we ever wanted to see. More like a dream come true. However I wish he could share more details on animal behaviour, habitats and the places to make it more interesting. Esther planned my trip and I would see she did justice to what I asked her for. Though she messed up a few bookings, she ensure it was corrected and we had no issues encountered. Maybe be a little more cautious? And request was for a guide of my choice whom I didn’t get…so slightly disappointed with that! Rest all was amazing…I wish I could extend this vacation for a longer period and I’d really vouch for meektrails and you can definitely book them for your African safaris
