Fantastic Experience. Thank you AANIKA Karibu Safaris - I reached out to them 6 days prior to flying to Kenya, for helping me with the travel and game drives. I had booked accommodation but did not know how to manage the travel. We also desired to do some site seeing in Nairobi. Viktor took on to the challenge of a short time frame and he helped arrange for all of this, including a city walk tout and also suggesting a things we could do. he arranged for a land cruiser which was extremely cost efficient and the guide himself, Arony was also extremely helpful. Would definetely recommend them and in my future Kenya trips i am looking forward to a continued association with them

My dream completed with Karibu Safaris. - The tour guide and driver were so nice. They were knowledgeable and kept us entertained on the long drives. The accommodations were fantastic. The Mara Serana Lodge were terrific. They had great food and lots of drinks. The staff was very friendly. The game drives were great. We saw lots of animals. It was exciting when a lion came very close to the car. We saw lots of zebras, giraffes, and other animals.

Awesome experience, even best tour guide (Mike) - We booked one day prior to doing the safari, which was very risky and at first were very scared since they didn't answer too clearly. They told us they'd picked us up at 6:15 and arrived 6:50 which already gave us bad vives, a car picked us up and took us to the office and the meeting wasn't that great, we thought we wouldn't go to the safari, but we paid in cash there and then it was a GREAT experience. The guy was called MIKE (ASK FOR HIM, HE'S GREAT, HE'S THE BEST TOUR GUIDE). The experience was just awesome, I went with two more friends and it was the whole minivan just for us which made it really confrotable and MIKE was always asking us how where we and if we needed anything (bathroom, eating, buying things) thoughout the journey. You won't regret booking with this company, specially if Mike is your tour guide.

Unforgettable experience. Thanks Karibu Safaris - Responsive booking. No price gouging; top quality yet affordable. I was greeted by two friendly tour guides, Castro, and Mark (ask for them) at 5 am. The vehicle was comfortable and in great shape. I was given interesting information about the animals and geography throughout the day. The team was tireless and committed the entire trip to finding compelling animals and situations. I saw the big five, ate well, and stayed at a great camp in Maasai Mara. I was very fortunate to have chosen Karibu Safaris.

Very disappointing experience - I booked a weekend safari in Amboseli at the end of July via WhatsApp. I confirmed on Thursday for departure Friday. Communication problems started immediately — I was told I could pay by credit card in USD or EUR, but on arrival was suddenly informed there’d be a 5% surcharge for foreign currency payments. No prior warning. When we reached the camp Friday evening, I discovered they had no booking under my name — despite my having paid extra for a single room. The agency had simply forgotten to include me. I spent the night in a crowded dorm at the edge of camp: 20 people, 2 showers, 2 toilets. Saturday morning, our guide Jonathan was supposed to meet us at 7 a.m. He showed up at 8:15 without notice. We had no way to contact him and had to enlist camp staff and other guides to track him down. His excuse? A flat tire. I don't buy it... We started 1.5 hours late, missing the prime early-morning wildlife viewing. In the afternoon, we agreed to rest briefly and head out again for the sunset drive — one of the best times to see animals and clearly listed in the agency’s itinerary (until 6 p.m.). Jonathan clearly didn’t want to go, saying, “It’s always the same animals” and “There are sunsets and sunrises every day.” When we insisted, he drove at a crawl — 15 km/h instead of the 30–40 km/h he managed in the morning — with zero effort to spot wildlife. For my once-in-a-lifetime safari, it's indecent! By Saturday night and Sunday, things improved slightly: I finally had my single room, and Jonathan was only 15 minutes late. We did one last drive before returning to Nairobi without further issues. For $350, this was absolutely not worth it. The main issue: you never deal directly with the actual operator (except before payment), so when things go wrong, there’s no one to help. If you’re traveling with others, book your accommodation yourself and just hire a 4x4 and a guide. It’ll be cheaper, and you’ll keep control over your trip.

Not good - We booked the tour for 4 days (2 days Masai Mara and then 2 days Lake Nakuru) in a jeep. The 2 days in Masai Mara in the jeep we're fine and the guide Peter explained good. But after 2 days we we're pushed into a minibus with an other Tour operator to continue the tour for the next 2 days. We didnt get back any money. This behaviour is really not fair. But they did it with many people. So be very careful to book with them!.

A joke my darling - My friends and i are south african so this wasnt our first safari, but it was our first time in Kenya so it was a no brainer. The camp conditions was just about the only positive thing i can mention. The is very little communication from the team, they changed our camp site and didnt inform us, also the water provided is room temp amd theres no place to get ice on the way. John, our driver, God bless him seemed abit confused by us, there was abit of a language barrier. The lunch was sub par, we didnt eat much of it. The game drive seemed go on and on, i even took a nap because we werent spotting any wild life. The worst part though was the inauthetic masia village, it all came a cross very performative. The entirw thing was just about getting the most money out of you. Everyone involved is hyper conserned about the tip but not really engaged in giving you great service. I would not recommend esp for people who have had other safari experiences.

Bad experience - The two days one night Tour to Maasai Mara does not worth It's money. We had hardly 3 hours of Game Drive in total, didnt spot many animals ,we never got our bottles of water as described and our guide Ambros said that he doesn't carry waters. In general, he had no idea on how tourists should be treated.
