Nairobi to Hell’s Gate National Park to Lake Naivasha National Park

Hell’s Gate National Park - The safari driver guide will meet the group at their Nairobi city hotel and drive northwest towards Lake Nakuru. A brief stop will be made at a viewpoint to admire the Great Rift Valley from a higher vantage point. Arrival at Hell’s Gate is expected by mid-morning, where a 2-hour biking tour will commence. Alternatively, some may choose to drive, which is also permitted. Wildlife sightings may include Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Giraffes, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys, and Porcupines, among others. The park is also a significant habitat for the rare lammergeyer vultures. At 11 am, a visit to the gorges will take place for an hour, offering stunning views of the gorge’s narrow land formations that can be walked beneath. By 12 pm, the bikes will be returned at the gate, with a visit to the Maasai community along the way. Lunch is scheduled for 1 pm at Naivasha Fisherman’s Camp (at own expense).

Lake Naivasha - At 2 pm, a serene boat ride on Lake Naivasha will be enjoyed, providing an opportunity to observe local wildlife such as hippos, buffalo, fish eagles, pelicans, and more for an hour.

Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru - Following breakfast, the journey continues to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. The park is home to Giraffes, Waterbucks, Black and White Rhinos, Buffalo, Lions, and Leopards, among other species. The lake’s shores are lined with thousands of Flamingos feeding on algae. Lunch will be served at Buraha Zenoni Resort or a similar lodge. After lunch, the return trip to Nairobi will commence, with an expected arrival around 5 PM.
