Lake Baringo - Begin the journey with a pickup from the hotel, residence, or airport early in the morning. Depart for Bogoria, making a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for photography and sightseeing. Continue through the Rift Valley floor, passing Naivasha and Nakuru town, and head north past the Equator to reach Lake Baringo. Arrive at Sandai Resort in Baringo for lunch, followed by a relaxing afternoon. Enjoy the naturally heated swimming pool in the early afternoon hours. At 3:20 PM, embark on a boat ride on Lake Baringo. Witness the African Fish eagle fishing, along with sightings of hippos and crocodiles. Take a guided walk on one of Baringo’s islands and return to the resort at 6:00 PM for dinner and an overnight stay.

Baringo to Lake Bogoria and back to Nairobi
Lake Bogoria - Start the day with breakfast before heading to the nearby Lake Bogoria National Reserve, a 1 hour and 30-minute drive away. Spend the afternoon watching flamingos. Lake Bogoria National Reserve is alkaline, supporting blue-green algae that feed the flamingos. At times, the number of flamingos feeding in the lake can reach up to two million. Raptors like tawny eagles prey on the flamingos. In total, 135 bird species have been recorded, including little grebe, pratincole, swift, little bee-eater, cape wigeon, yellow-billed stork, African spoonbill, augur buzzard, gabar goshawk, water dikkop, great tit, starling, hornbill, and crombec. Depart Lake Bogoria for Nairobi, with a lunch break along the way.
Arrive in the city in the early evening to be dropped off at your residence or airport.

The recorded bird species in the area total to 135, including diverse varieties like little grebe, pratincole, swift, little bee-eater, cape wigeon, yellow-billed stork, African spoonbill, augur buzzard, gabar goshawk, water dikkop, great tit, starling, hornbill, and crombec. Additionally, the reserve is home to a group of the relatively unusual Greater Kudu.
