The team consists of four local guides who are both experienced and professional. Each member was born, raised, and continues to reside in Kibera, the largest slum in Africa. They offer genuine insights into the everyday life within their community. Their social impact tour business, OAC Kenya Tours, serves as a catalyst for positive change, with a significant portion of the revenue reinvested into the community. Specifically, 50% of the booking fees from the tours are allocated to cover school fees for underprivileged children in the area. By booking a tour, participants contribute to making a positive impact.
Additionally, they manage a non-profit organization called KCOOP Organization, which was officially established and registered in 2022. KCOOP operates within the Kibera slum and extends its efforts to rural areas of Kenya. Regular updates are shared on their website and social media platforms, including Instagram at @kcoop.organization.
They are currently seeking partnerships with like-minded individuals, organizations, or enterprises to expand their support for more children in need. Everyone is welcome to join in this mission.
