• Bomas of Kenya - The guide will meet guests at their hotel at 12:30 pm to begin the journey to the Bomas of Kenya. This cultural tour showcases Kenya’s major ethnic groups, including the Luo, Taita, Embu, Maasai, Kikuyu, Kamba, Kalenjin, Luhya, Kisii, and Kuria, among others. The term “boma” translates to “homestead,” and visitors will find replicas of traditional villages that offer fascinating insights into each tribe’s societal structure, crafts, music, dance, and more.

Established in 1971 by the Kenya Tourist Development Corporation, the site aims to preserve the ancient traditions of the Kenyan people by promoting local and international awareness and advocacy. The bomas are constructed using the same methods as local tribes, ensuring an authentic experience similar to what one would find in Kenya’s remote communities. The site also features an impressive auditorium, one of the largest in Africa. After the tour, guests will be returned to their hotel.
