This is a Can't-Miss Trip for Coffee Lovers and More. - I had an extra open morning while in Nairobi and found this offering on Trip Advisor. I'm a coffee lover and figured it would be an interesting visit. I have to say that it greatly exceeded my expectation! Alex, my driver, communicated with me about the pickup time and was very prompt. Our tour group included local students training to be baristas and others from around the world. Elvis was our guide and I can't say enough about his humble manner, his humor and his incredibly great knowledge about the history of coffee. His stories and explanations, as we walked through the coffee field, brought the coffee world to life. It wasn't dull or dry. We got a great overview before the walking tour and then got to use our knowledge to pick a few coffee cherries before heading back to a taste-test and experience the roasting process. This was an incredible 3-hour tour that I'd gladly do again! I highly recommend it.

A pleasant way to spend our last day in Kenya - Our return flight was late in the evening so we had time for an activity in or near Nairobi. Transport was easy to arrange through Trip Advisor. The guide, Raymond, was engaging and very enthusiastic about the farm’s business practices. The tour ended with a tasting in their lovely garden and an opportunity to buy coffee. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Coffee - An Intersting Topic! - Tour Guide James presented an in-depth presentation as we toured the farm along with sampling to conclude the presentation. James was informative, answered all questions and included humor in his talks. I came away with a much broader knowledge base about coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

It was a great tour for beginners to have fun understanding coffee! - I thought I had some understanding of coffee because I am a barista, but seeing the whole process live, from cultivation to harvesting, refining, roasting and distribution, gave me a better understanding of the resolution. I also learned a lot about the history of coffee and the circular economy. Raymond's commentary is quizzical, friendly, and easy to understand, so you don't have to know anything about coffee to feel at ease!

Great tour from start to finish. Learned a lot about coffee in sustainable farming. - This was a wonderful experience from start to finish—from the drive to the farm to the engaging coffee tour itself. Alex, our driver, gave us a fun mini-lesson in Swahili and shared fascinating facts Kenyan culture. Raymond, our tour guide, was excellent at keeping everyone engaged. I don’t even like coffee, yet I found myself genuinely intrigued and asking questions about the process. Highly recommend this tour to everyone—even tea drinkers!

An unforgettable moment - I had a great time. It was Alex who picked me up directly from my hotel to get us to the activity site. On site we joined Elwis, a passionate, interesting guide who exchanged throughout the activity with us. He created an excellent Mood and taught us a lot of things. I found this visit very interesting, I recommend it even for people who like me are not a fan of coffee. You will have a great time with them! And learn lots of things!
