Amazing experience - We had an amazing trip to Kenya and Tanzania with Right Choice! We wanted to tweak the original itinerary and George was very accommodating of this. Communication from George was excellent throughout the planning process, and once we arrived, everything ran seamlessly. All transport and accommodations were spot-on — we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our guide in Kenya, Jacob, was truly outstanding. I hadn’t realised just how important it is to have an experienced and skilled guide, but after travelling with Jacob, it’s now the number one thing I’d ask about when booking a safari. His driving skills were exceptional — both on the roads and in the challenging off-road conditions of the Masai Mara. While we saw many other vehicles getting stuck, Jacob was often the one helping them out! He was also incredibly tuned in to wildlife sightings, always active on the radio and quick to respond when something was spotted nearby. Not only that, but he consistently found the perfect vantage points to park the jeep for the best possible views and photos. His expertise and calm confidence made our safari experience unforgettable. The vehicles provided were excellent — sturdy, comfortable Land Cruisers in both Kenya and Tanzania. The transition across the border was smooth and well-handled, and our Tanzanian guide, Raja, was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed that portion of the safari just as much, and the wildlife and landscapes in both countries were absolutely breathtaking. We ended our trip with a few days in Zanzibar, staying at Blue Bay Hotel, which was a fantastic way to relax and unwind after the safari. The hotel was beautiful and the beach setting was idyllic. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip, made even more special by the people who made it happen. Highly recommended!

Amazing bucket list safari experience!! - We absolutely loved our 15 day Kenya, Tanzania, & Zanzibar holiday booked through Right Choice! It was so hard to sift through all the tour companies and options out there, but not only did the itinerary work so well for us, but the value was awesome and it was actually how good the trip advisor reviews were that sold me! Our Kenya guide, Jacob, was so knowledgable and helpful! He honestly made our trip and safari!! The owner, George, was very quick to respond to our emails and requests. At the Kenya/Tanzania border we were met by another company, Raven Safaris, who is partners with Right Choice to complete the Tanzania portion of the safari. Our guide, Rajabu, was fabulous as well! A few things to note for to future travelers: 1. We didn't know we'd have the whole safari car to ourselves the entire time, we just thought the transfers between the spots were private but we would be in a group setting for the game drives -- this is not the case! You have a private vehicle for the duration of your trip! We only packed soft duffles and backpacks because that was what all the blog posts said, but since we had much more room we could have saved our backs a bit and done wheeled luggage. The flight from Arusha to Zanzibar also didn't care about wheeled luggage. 2. You have the same guide everyday you are in Kenya and different guide for your whole portion in Tanzania (not including Zanzibar). This was actually really nice to have the same person with us for multiple days, we weren't sure if we were going to have different people in each location when we booked! 3. A lot of blog posts warned us about tsetse flies and only wearing neutral earth colored clothing -- tsetse flies were only in Tanzania (not a thing around Kenya I guess) and we really didn't need to buy as much neutral safari clothing as we did. Overall my husband and I highly recommend this trip - it was truly a once in a lifetime experience for us and we are so thankful to Right Choice & Raven Safaris for making it such a pleasurable experience!

Incredible experience not to be missed - We were a family of 8 and we we did the classic Kenya, Tanzania with Zanzibar beach holiday with Right Choice. It was an incredible trip, put together perfectly by George and his staff. We did customize this a little bit to stretch it to 17 days and it worked great for us. We had 2 safari vehicles with 4 people in each vehicle. To list the high points, it starts with George. He is awesome in what he does right from understanding what our needs and expectations are, gives us very insightful recommendations, and works with us patiently until he puts together a perfect plan. He is very accommodating and very responsive to any questions/changes we have. I contacted about 8 tour operators to get estimates for the same itinerary. George and his company provided the best value for the money by a far distance. If you are on the fence about deciding on the tour operators, by going with Right Choice tours and safaris, be assured that you are making the RIGHT CHOICE. Read on if you are interested in further detailed review. Our tours started off in Nairobi. Joshua and Simon were our tour guides for the Kenyan segment. Both were excellent guides, very courteous and caring. They had a great sense of humor and they blended with us seamlessly like they were a part of the family. Their knowledge and experience in spotting the animals, explaining about their habitat, and getting to the right spots to get a great view of the animals was outstanding. Our day 1 was visiting the Elephant orphanage, Giraffe center, and then a welcome dinner at Carnivore. It was great to kick off the trip on a very positive note. All accommodations chosen were great and the food service at these lodges was very very good, perhaps the best of the places we have been to and we have traveled to a lot of destinations. As I mentioned above, George discusses with you regarding your needs with respect to accommodation and gets the best value for your money. Some of the places we stayed were absolutely gorgeous, far exceeding our expectations. There is not one place where I would say I do not want to stay there again. We visited Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, and Masaai Mara. We saw all kinds of animals some of them really up close. Joshua and Simon ensured we had a very good experience on every game drive we went on. We got to see only 3 among the top 5 in Kenyan segment and this had nothing to do with the guides but just the fact that we were not lucky enough. Overall a great experience in Kenya. We then moved on to Tanzania segment where our tour guides were Chambuso and Ally. Chambuso was an excellent spotter, It always amazed us how he was able to spot some animals while he was driving. He was kind and courteous and a very good driver. They were punctual and worked with us to ensure excellent game drives. Here in Tanzania, we visited Lake Victoria, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire national park. We saw a huge herd of Lions and all sorts of animals including a sea of Wildebeests. We also spotted Leopards and Rhinos which completed our Big 5 spotting. Again accommodations were top class and we saw some amazing views of sunrise/sunsets, and amazing views of the savannah. Ngorongoro is a special place and not to be missed. We then flew into Zanzibar with incredible white sand beaches. We stayed in Blue Bay resort which was excellent, with very spacious rooms and excellent staff led by Group general manager Dass Bangar. Dass made sure our incredible vacation ended on a very high note. Overall, an incredible experience and we have wonderful memories to last a lifetime. All this went amazingly well because of George and his company. Asante Sana George!!! I am more than happy to be a reference for any of your prospective clients. When we decide to come back, Right Choice will be OUR ONLY CHOICE!!!

Wonderful guide; Great places to stay - Our guide, Opini, was wonderful. We saw so many animals and took amazing pictures and videos. Our guide was very attentive to what we wanted to see and did a great job of communicating in English. The places that we stayed were uniformly better than we had expected. They were all nice and a few were really exceptional. We could not have had a better vacation!

Once in a lifetime experience! Cannot recommend enough! - Right Choice Tours and Safari is highly recommended as the most professional and value for money tour operator. Since day 1, George was extremely communicative, insightful and happy to accommodate our requests for a dream trip. His responses were professional and quick and his guidance was to the point! We visited both Kenya and Tanzania and had an amazing, magical and seamless experience that will resonate with us forever. We wish our eyes could take pictures and videos! There are no words to describe the ecstatic feelings we had during the whole journey, from the very first day in Nairobi, Kenya to the last one in Zanzibar. Everything was impeccably organised and planned ahead for us. Special reference shall be made to the best experience of the trip: the homestaying at Olkinyei (Maasai village)! Such a majestic and interesting tribe! We were warmly welcomed and introduced to the ins-and-outs of the village, culture, traditions, everyday life. People usually do a 2hr visit but honestly, an overnight stay is highly recommended to have a better feel of the Maasai village and life. How often does one have the chance to do that?! One shall seize the opportunity with both hands, right? Ken, our guide in Kenya was the best driver, animal spotter, guide and guardian angel! He elevated the whole experience with his caring personality and the great sense of humour that we really loved! Chambuso, our guide in Tanzania, was amazing too! He is such a great and knowledgeable guide, driver and relentless animal spotter! It's not a coincidence that everyone was calling him on the radio asking for tips. Such a celebrity guide! Undoubtedly, both our guides are real gems and assets to the Right Choice Tours and Safari! We are forever thankful for everything and we are definitely coming back (same drivers please 🙂 )!!!

15 day safari - I would like to leave a review on our recent 15 day trip with right choice safaris. From start to finish, we had an amazing experience. Very smooth transition from the airport to the hotel, where we had time to rest up. First day we was picked up in our lovely safari 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, this was an upgrade for the first part of the trip that we would defensively recommend upgrading to this to ease getting down difficult roads and for added comfort. First half of trip was in Kenya and Every accommodation was very clean, comfortable and pleasure to stay at, food was lovely and staff very nice. For our tour guide we had Kennedy, He was very knowledgable able to answer all our questions. Was able to get us close and to see all the animals we wanted to see, managed to see all the big 5 in Kenya alone. Our guide Ken was first to all of the animals we wanted to see. Very knowledgable on the parks, where to find the animals and best spots to go to. Could not recommend Ken enough, he made our trip a experience of a lifetime we will always remember. Second half of the trip in Tanzania again was an incredible trip. The national parks where incredible and beautiful views. Saw some amazing lions here. Accommodation was lovely at each place we stayed. Guide was lovely and very informative. Was eager and as excited as we were to see all the animals and again took us to see everything we wanted to see. Transfers where fab and smooth again to Zanzibar for some well needed rest after busy safari. Katie and Matthew

Reliable, trustable and compassionated touroperator who takes care of everything from begin till the end of your trip - We are a couple from the Netherlands that booked our 16 Day private lodge safari with Right Choice in the periode end of May/begin of June 2022. This period is the end of the rain season and not yet the high season, advantages are: better prices, never crowdy in the parcs/lodges and nice green landscapes. Disadvantages: sometimes there can be some rain in the afternoon and when you want to see the big migration to the Masai Mara, it's not the right time. Our trip was a combined Kenya/Tanzania/Zanzibar trip. We started our trip in Nairobi and ended our trip on Zanzibar Island (the safaris ended in Arusha, where we took a domestic flight). During our trip we visited different parcs like Nairobi NP, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate NP, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire. From the moment we made contact with Right Choice, we constantly got very quick responses from George. All the questions we've had (as well as questions about composing and finetuning the trip as general questions about visas, best places to stay and other ideas) were answered quick and complete. George is always reachable by mail and (we found out later) by Whatsapp to help. So we started at Nairobi (we arrived late in the evening). As soon as we left the doors of the airport we were picked up by out Kenyan driver/guide Jacob (excellent driver and guide, when you book your safari at Right Choice, ask for him!) In consultation with George, we added an extra day in Nairobi, to explore the Giraffe Park and Nairobi National Park. We can recommend this to everybody. First of all, you have an extra day before the actual trip, so you can aclimatize a little bit and second you can visit Nairobi NP. You can spend a half Day in the park and have good opportunities to see rhinos (we did not see them anywhere else in Kenya). After Nairobi we went to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate and Masai Mara in Kenya. All the (tented) lodges were of good quality and most important, they have good locations in relation to the gates of the parks. If you want tot change a lodge for an other specific lodge you can arrange this also with George, he is ready to help you! When it was time to leave Kenya and enter Tanzania, it was also time to change the driver/guide and the car (in both countrys we drove a Toyota Landcruiser 4x4). During the immigration proces, as well as Jacob as our new driver/guide Steven (who was already waiting for us at the border) helps us step by step till everything was arranged and made sure we felt save and relax during the transfer. Even George called us at that moment to ask is if everything was as we expected so far. In Tanzania, our driver/guide Steven showed us he also have great driving skills and knowledge of all the flora and fauna in every park! We can also perfectly recommend Steven when traveling in Tanzania. After visiting the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire where we switched lodge (tip: Tarangire Safari Lodge inside Tarangire park), we were dropped of at Arusha airport and got the information of the flight times to Zanzibar and who was going to pick us up. Also this part of communication was great and we felt like everything was arranged very well for us. We spend the last 3 nights at a beach hotel at Zanzibar. Our suggestion is to discuss with George what kind of hotel you want and the choose the one you like. Conclusion, if you looking for a real reliable and trustable touroperator with excellent drivers/guides who literally know everything about their countys, National Parks and also love to share this with you, you can book with confidence at Right Choice. Special thanks to George, Jacob and Steven!

Awesome trip! - Loved this trip! We had a private guide for Kenya and Tanzania, which was awesome. Opany was our skilled driver in Kenya and he was kind, caring and very knowledgeable. Will definitely request him as our guide again. Mr. C. was our guide in Tanzania and again, so skilled in spotting animals for us to see. This company is a great company to work with, and would recommend them to you without hesitation. Thank you Opany and Mr. C for making our trip so memorable.

Do Not Trust RIGHT CHOICE SAFARIS Law Suite in Kenya Court: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqvQbmB_jVo - DO NOT TRUST RIGHT CHOICE SAFARIS - George. We were 20 people travelling from USA for 15 day Safari tour of Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar. The tour package including everything, accommodation, food, drivers, cursers, park fees, all the daily drives and 3 days of Zanzibar resort stay, except of international flights was agreed and we made the deposit in January of 2025. Two weeks before our tour started on Aug. 17th 2026 we had paid the balance for all 20 in full which was confirmed by Right Choice with paid in full receipt. The total paid was over $120000 with some extra nights of stay that we requested. The BAD experience starts with this company on arrival in Nairobi we were all picked up and transported to the assigned hotel. The night before on Aug. 16th takes to his office as I was the lead of the group and throws an unexpected surprise saying I owe him $6000 more. It was a total surprise as we had made the full payment for the balance to him two weeks before. He threatened if I don't pay he will cancel the tour putting me in helpless situation with 20 of us already paid for the air fair and tour and arrived in Nairobi already. After 2 hours of arguments and not having any documents to show him as he surprisingly without notice took me to his office I ended up paying George $6000 with my CC. That night he had promised to treat all of us to a dinner at some restaurant he had made arrangements for us. I had asked him if he is going to be there too and he said of course. I went back to the group and told a few people what just happened to me in his office. We all went to the dinner location but George was no where to be found. The restaurant manager told us he would not be able to make it so we all went to the assigned table. Come to ordering the drinks we asked the waitress if the drinks were included in the arrangements they made with George and she checked with the manager and said yes they were included. Just toward the middle of dinner I get a call from George and he said I only offered to dinner and not the drinks. This is another bad choice of George not to be there to host and also not clarifying it with the restaurant. After another back and forth with George for 45 minutes to an hour the restaurant manager was kind enough to say that they will short it out with George and not to worry about the drinks bill. Next morning Aug. 17th the Safari tour started and we were all on our way all good. The drivers were good as I knew them from my previous tours with them. Now on Aug. 25th we were at Tanzania border all cleared through immigration and ready to load into the Tanzania Cruisers. One of the driver Roger comes to me and said we need to pay $12055for the park fees as George has not paid the park fees and until it is paid they cannot take us ( The park fees were included in our package and was paid to George in Full as part of the balance payment). What a disaster at this point for two hours of going back and forth with George and the Tanzania driver also involving Irene Katuma, Deputy Director of N. America Kenya Tourism Board, after she had talked to George and George agreed that it was his mistake for asking us all this extra payment. He gave me in writing that due to his financial difficulties he was not able to pay and he will refund all the total funds of $6000 that he took on Aug. 16th and the Tanzania park fees of $12055 back. Upon advise from Irene Katuma, Deputy Director to pay the $12055 now and continue with the Safari in Tanzania and Zanzibar and George will refund the full amount back when he meets us in Arusa. I paid the $12055 by my CC and found out the payment was made to his partner company Raven Safaris Company LTD with whom we had no direct communications or agreements for this safari. We went on with the Safari almost after 3 hours of arguments from the parking lot of Immigration office. There were other glitches here where he split few of us and put us in different inferior lodges outside the park so that he did not had to pay the park fees like the lodges in the park and we had to leave the park by 6.30 pm where the other group that stayed in the park can enjoy evening Safari after 6,30 pm. Our tour completed on Aug. 30th and every one went to their destination. George never showed up in Arusa to pay the overcharged amount. After arriving in US I emailed him and asked for the refund to my CC he said it is better for him to do wire transfer to my bank so I gave him my bank info. Till to date I have not seen a penny from him. He stopped responding. I put a CC dispute for both the charges. It has been since October till March 2027 the dispute was going back and forth between the CC company and George's bank. Even after proving all the documents to the CC company Citi Bank which I think did not make an honest attempt to resolve the matter as some outsourced agent had called me once to discuss and said the few copies that I sent were not legible which was not true. I sent those copies again in much legible form and never heard back from them. Finally few weeks ago Citi Bank sends a letter saying the dispute is closed and it went in George's favor for whatever reason. In conclusion I would like for the future customers of Right Choice to know and not fall in this trap because once you are in Nairobi you are at his mercy. I have lost $18055 (plus the CC fees) with Right Choice Safaris because I trusted George and fall fall all his false promises. Talking to the drivers I found out that Lately George had this same issues with other clients too and same information was given to me by some of the management lodges that the clients will come to the lodge but there was no payment made by George. I just saw few people's review at the end of 2025 and they had similar experience with George. Also there is a LAW SUIT against him on Feb 17th 2026 here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqvQbmB_jVo This man is a repeat offender of crime and stealing money from his clients, I am surprised how the Kenya Government, Tourism board of Kenya and the police is still letting him do business in Kenya.
