Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve - Guests will be collected from their hotel or the airport and begin the journey to Mara, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a stunning view of the valley floor. Arrival at Maasai Mara will be in time for lunch. In the afternoon, after checking in, guests will depart for a game viewing. Later, they will drive to the Mara Reserve lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Full Day

Masai Mara National Reserve - Spend the entire day exploring Mara in search of the Big Five. Enjoy picnic lunches in the Reserve under a croton shade tree while admiring the beauty of the Mara, located at the banks of the Mara River. Optional: In the evening, visit the Maasai village for a cultural tour at USD 20 per person. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people. The Mara is where the most spectacular natural event, the great migration, occurs. On the full-day tour, guests can reach the Mara River, where many resident hippos and crocodiles bask on the riverbanks. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru - After breakfast, depart Masai Mara with an option to visit a Maasai Village at an additional cost of USD 20 per person, paid directly to the Maasai Morans. The Maasai Mara is home to many members of the vibrant Maasai tribe, who can be seen around the park’s borders – Morans (warriors) traversing the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders gathered under a tree discussing daily matters. A visit to a Maasai boma (homestead) reveals this remarkable culture and customs. Arrive at your accommodation at Lake Nakuru for lunch, and spend the afternoon at leisure enjoying the pool at your lodge.

Lake Nakuru to Naivasha

Lake Naivasha - After an early breakfast, depart by 7 am directly to the park. It’s a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos, which are part of the Big Five animals. There is also a chance to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which guests depart for Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, guests will go to Hell’s Gate for a biking safari. If too tired, they will be driven through the park by car. Later, enjoy an hour-long boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - Guests will be picked up from the hotel in the morning and driven to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. Check-in will be in time for lunch at AA Amboseli Lodge, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive in search of its popular residents, including well-known predators and their prey, with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli National Park Full Day

Amboseli National Park - Guests will have the entire second day to explore the park, with a break to enjoy a picnic lunch. Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular wildlife sanctuaries and is often referred to as the “Home of Elephants.” Some of the largest elephant herds are found here, and the game park also contains zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and antelope.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Nairobi - After an early breakfast, guests will check out and enjoy a short game drive en route to Nairobi. A simple complimentary lunch will be provided at the Travellers Motel on the way back to Nairobi, with drop-off at the hotel or airport.
