- Lake Elementaita - Begin the day with a morning pickup from the airport or hotel, followed by a brief orientation before heading to Lake Elementaita National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink and settle into your room. After lunch, embark on a leisurely guided walk along the lake, renowned for its abundant birdlife. Lake Elementaita, a soda lake in the Great Rift Valley, is located approximately 120 km northwest of Nairobi, Kenya. This salt lake is famous for its diverse avifauna, including large populations of Greater and Lesser flamingos. Conclude the day with a soothing dip in the hot springs. Return to the lodge for dinner and a campfire. Accommodation is provided at Jacaranda Lake Elementaita Lodge.
- Lake Nakuru National Park - Start the day with breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s premier parks, featuring a Rift Valley soda lake. Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome and settle into your room. After lunch, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, a haven for bird enthusiasts due to its vast array of bird species. The park is home to over 400 bird species, including flamingos that inhabit the lake and savannah grasslands. Notable bird species include the African Fish Eagle, Slender-billed Greenbul, Long-tailed Widowbird, Rufous-throated Wryneck, Montane White-eye, Red-capped Lark, Northern Puffback, Rüppell’s Robin-chat, Shining Sunbird, and many more. Accommodation is at Wagon Wheel Hotel.
- Maasai Mara National Reserve - After an early breakfast, travel through the Great Rift Valley to Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into the safari lodge, which will serve as the base during the stay. Embark on a late afternoon game viewing drive, with excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino. The diverse wildlife and natural surroundings create a breathtaking safari experience. The Maasai Mara, also spelled Masai Mara, is a game reserve in southwestern Kenya, forming the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Accommodation is at Aa Mara Lodge.
- Maasai Mara National Reserve - After a restful night’s sleep, enjoy tea or coffee and cookies at the campsite. Set out for a full-day game drive in the reserve, a popular time for wildlife viewing. The cool early morning temperatures create an ideal environment for both wildlife and visitors. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards roam the expansive grasslands in search of prey, such as impalas or smaller animals like warthogs. Accommodation is at Aa Mara Lodge.
- Maasai Mara National Reserve - On the third day in Maasai Mara, consider visiting a Maasai Mara village or taking a balloon ride for an additional fee, or continue with the game drive. Spend the day exploring the reserve, observing lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they hunt across the vast grasslands. Accommodation is at Aa Mara Safari Lodge.

Amazing family vacation!! - We have been planning this trip with Abongo for almost three weeks as we had postponed twice for unavoidable reasons and so it was a huge relief that we finally did it. I must say that we were very glad that we chose Silver Spark Africa because they’ve treated us to the most wonderful safari experience. Maasai Mara is a beautiful place with incredible attractions and nice people with their heritage culture. Each day brought new adventure in the parks or while visiting local tribes.
There were so many exciting experiences that had our teens on the edge of their seats. If you are thinking of a Kenya safari go with Silver Spark Safari company and you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend Silver Spark Safari Tours for our next safari trip.
