Journey from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha - Begin your adventure to Lake Naivasha with a photo stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Continue to Hell’s Gate National Park for a mini safari. In the afternoon, visit a natural sauna before heading to your hotel. Enjoy an evening boat ride for hippo viewing and bird watching along the shores of Lake Naivasha.
From Naivasha to Lake Nakuru
Lake Nakuru - Depart in the morning for Lake Nakuru National Park to witness the rare black rhino, one of the Big Five. Enjoy a game drive until late, then proceed to Naivasha for an overnight stay in Lanet.
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara
Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, drive to Mai Mahiu Transit town to join a group safari to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. Accommodation includes a large tent with a bed, mosquito net, and bathroom at Miti Mingi Tourist Camp or Rhino Camp. After settling in, enjoy a 2-hour game drive in Maasai Mara starting around 4 pm.
Full Day in Masai Mara
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. Enjoy picnic lunches in the Reserve under a croton shade tree by the Mara River.
Optional: In the evening, visit a local Masai village for a cultural tour at USD 20 per person. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the locals. An overnight stay at the Masai village can be arranged upon request.
A balloon safari at USD 380 per person (optional) can be organized early morning, followed by the regular program. Witness the spectacular Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras migrate from the Serengeti in search of water and pasture, followed by predators like lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a full day of morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains. Serengeti is Tanzania’s most famous and largest national park, covering 14,763 square kilometers. It is renowned for the Migration, where over a million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras migrate south for the short rains in October and November, then move west and north after the long rains in April, May, and June. Join us to explore the diverse vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet its fascinating inhabitants.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive with picnic lunches. The Ngorongoro Crater is often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for Africa’s densest animal populations. Spot the rare black rhino in its natural habitat. With its 2000 ft. high walls, expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many birds. With luck, the Big Five can be spotted in one game drive. Your guide will highlight fascinating animal behaviors, including the subtle communication of elephants.
Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara - After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara. The park includes the northwest bank and part of the alkaline Lake Manyara, located in the Great Rift Valley. Known for its flamingos, pelicans, and cormorants, it is also home to hundreds of bird species. Lake Manyara National Park is unique for its tree-climbing lions. Baboons and vervet monkeys inhabit the forested areas, while giraffes and antelopes browse in open spaces. Drive to Karatu, in the heart of coffee country. Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed volcano, teems with wildlife, including the highest density of lions per square kilometer in Africa, open savannah grasslands, the Lerai groundwater forest, and a soda lake tinged pink by thousands of flamingos.
Mto wa Mbu - This town, adjacent to Lake Manyara National Park, is known as a central food market.
Lake Manyara to Tarangire
Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in the beautiful Manyara National Park. Observe buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and more, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall. Continue to Tarangire.
Tarangire National Park - Located in Tanzania’s Manyara Region, Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River, the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park covers approximately 2,850 square kilometers and features granitic ridges, river valleys, and swamps. Vegetation includes Acacia woodland, Combretum woodland, seasonally flooded grassland, and baobab trees.
Tarangire to Arusha
Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the stunning Tarangire National Park. Observe buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and more, all set against the backdrop of the Great Rift Wall. Proceed to Arusha for drop-off.
Arusha to Nairobi
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - After breakfast, take a shuttle back to Nairobi for airport drop-off.
The first shuttle departs at 7 am, arriving in Nairobi around 2 pm. Another shuttle leaves at 9 am, arriving at 4 pm, and the last one departs at 11 am, arriving at 5 pm.
