• Karen Blixen Museum - The city tour starts with a hotel pick-up and a drive towards the base of the Ngong Hills. At the museum, visitors can explore both Danish and African cultures as depicted by Karen Blixen. The museum features coffee farms with vintage machinery and tools used in coffee farming. Additionally, it houses artifacts from the movie “Out of Africa.” Guests can enjoy a picnic lunch on the museum grounds at their own expense.

• KOBE TOUGH Beads & Leather - The next stop is the Kobe Bead Factory, a pottery company renowned for producing some of the world’s most exquisite beads. Visitors will be guided through the entire production process, from start to finish. This unique factory employs single mothers from underprivileged neighborhoods, providing them with a livelihood to support their families. The pottery, ceramic, and bead factory exclusively hires single mothers to create its stunning gifts and souvenirs, which are now exported worldwide. There is a gift shop that offers a selection of their products. Please note that the workshop is closed on Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday, but the gift shop remains open seven days a week. The tour concludes with a return to the hotel.
