• Nairobi Railway Museum - Situated at the northwest end of Nairobi Station, the Nairobi Railway Museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the historical and commercial importance of railways in East Africa. It showcases a variety of relics and records, including a collection of steam locomotives, rolling stock, small exhibits, models, and numerous other artifacts.

The museum is divided into four sections: a main gallery, a museum resource center, an auditorium, and an outdoor display area. In the main gallery, visitors can find company crests from the railways of East Africa, with the most notable being the Uganda Railways, Tanganyika Railways, Kenya Railways, and East Africa Railways.

• National Archives - For those passionate about research, art, history, and culture, the Kenya National Archives is a must-visit attraction in Nairobi. It offers an opportunity to explore exhibits and even conduct personal research. Established by an act of the Kenyan Parliament in 1965, its mission is to preserve important public records and national documents, along with a vast collection of African arts, including basketry, pottery, traditional weaponry, masks, ornamental art, sculptures, paintings, beadwork, textiles, and photography.

Among the oldest and rarest documents in the archive are the 17th-century records, reports, and diaries of the Church Missionary Society.
