• Hell’s Gate National Park - Depart from your Nairobi hotel at 7 am and journey to Hell’s Gate National Park, pausing at viewpoints to admire the breathtaking Great Rift Valley escarpment. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya’s smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle. Arrive at Hell’s Gate around mid-morning and begin a two-hour biking tour within the park; driving is also an option for those who prefer it. Wildlife commonly seen here includes bushbucks, dik-diks, giraffes, gazelles, gnus, hartebeests, impalas, klipspringers, buffaloes, hyraxes, zebras, hyenas, jackals, mongooses, baboons, monkeys, and porcupines, among others. The park has historically been a significant habitat for the rare lammergeyer vultures. At 11 am, visit the gorges for an hour to capture stunning views of the gorge’s narrow land depressions, where you can walk beneath. Then proceed to Lake Naivasha.
