• Hell’s Gate National Park - Start with a 7am pickup in Nairobi, then journey to Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate National Park, pausing to enjoy views of the Great Rift Valley from a scenic overlook along the route. Upon reaching the park around 9am, embark on a 2-hour guided bike/walking tour: look out for stunning rock formations, herds of Thompson’s gazelle, eland, zebra, giraffes, warthogs, and hartebeest as you ride. Keep an eye on the sky during the tour, as Hell’s Gate National Park hosts over 100 bird species, including Verreaux’s eagles, augur buzzards, vultures, and swifts. Continue on foot into the park’s unique gorges, where narrow passageways and caves are carved into sedimentary rock. After a 1-hour walk, proceed to Lake Naivasha, then head to Naivasha Marina Camp for lunch (at your own expense).
