Nairobi to Masai Mara

Rift Valley Province - Depart at 8:00 a.m. from your Nairobi hotel or be picked up from the airport for the journey to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a stunning view of the scenic Rift Valley floor. You will also see Mt Longonot from a distance. After a 15-minute stop, continue to Masai Mara, arriving at the camp for lunch. Enjoy lunch and then head out for an evening game drive to search for the Big Five, returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ololaimutiek - Our camp is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the Ololaimutia Gate. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, then return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Full Day

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Start with an early breakfast followed by a full-day game drive. You may see all of the Big Five: elephant, buffalo, and lion. However, sightings of rhino and leopard, which complete the Big Five, are not guaranteed as they are few in number, very shy, and elusive.

Mara River - Enjoy lunch along the Mara River. If it’s during the wildebeest migration, you will wait by the river as the wildebeest and zebras cross. Later, return to the Rhino Tourist Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Ololaimutiek - After breakfast, you have the option to visit a Masai village near the Ololaimutia Gate to learn about their unique culture and interact with the locals. Later, depart for Lake Nakuru with lunch provided en route.

Lake Nakuru National Park - On this day, you can optionally visit a Masai village to learn about their culture and interact with them. Depart the Mara region for Nakuru, with lunch on the way. Mt Longonot and Lake Naivasha can be seen from a distance on the main highway. Arrive in Nakuru late in the evening, with dinner and an overnight stay at Buraha Zenoni Hotel. There will be no game drive on this day due to the late arrival in Nakuru.

Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

Lake Nakuru National Park - After an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Witness thousands of flamingos nesting along the shores throughout the year. Watching the shore turn pink is a visual delight. During the short game drive, spot a variety of antelope and other protected species like the Colobus monkey and rhinos. You can opt for a visit to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride. Then, head to Nairobi with lunch on the way. This is the final day of your safari, with a 3-hour drive remaining to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at the CBD in Nairobi by the afternoon. With an incredible experience and many memories to cherish, it’s time to bid farewell to the team.
