Unfortunately very misleading and disappointing - The show itself was entertaining and the dancers were great. It was fun that it was interactive with the audience. It was hard to hear what the ‘presenter’ was saying because she spoke softly, there was noise behind the stage and work on the building on the floor below. Other than that, the experience being sold is totally misleading and a poor value for the price. The experience on tripadvisor promotes ‘insight into the homes of various indigenous communities, stop at Uhuru Gardens and a 2 hour dance show’, but I received none of it. We weren’t even at the Bomas of Kenya-location. I was taken to a souvernirshop, got a 1 hour show on the 2nd floor of the shop, and that’s it. Didn’t even get the water or T-shirt included. I payed 2500 KES for the show on site (which is already expensive considering it was only 1 hour, but OK, the dancers deserve it). But for the payment made on tripadvisor you get absolutely nothing in return. I asked for a refund of the tripadvisor-price (not the show), but the tour operator didn’t approve, and is claiming they provided the experience but that i chose not to participate in it (like why would i do that when i had booked it haha?). Started off as just a disappointment, but after experiencing their horrible customer service it’s really more like a scam. Do not recommend!
