Aberdare National Park - JAMBO! Known as the ‘majestic moorland,’ Aberdares National Park features stunning, steep forested ravines and open moorland. You will have the opportunity to see elephants, black rhinos, leopards, hyenas, olive baboons, and much more. Your driver guide will strive to show you all the wildlife residing in this park and will also take you to the most beautiful waterfalls. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch at Aberdares Country Club, followed by a shuttle transfer to your Lodge. In the late afternoon, you will return to The Ark to relax before dinner.

Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park - This morning, set off for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at the camp in time for lunch, and after a refreshing break, embark on an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru, a soda lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, is rich in birdlife and home to over 400 different species.
The sight of flamingos making the lake appear ringed in pink is breathtaking. Besides the abundant birdlife, it is also a crucial sanctuary for the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and both black and white rhinos. Lake Nakuru is teeming with wildlife, offering you and your family the chance to spot lions, waterbuck, buffalo, baboons, and much more. The park boasts a vast array of animals.

Masai Mara National Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast and a brief orientation by your driver guide, travel to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, the backdrop to ‘the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth,’ the annual migration of over one million wildebeest. Arrive in time for lunch at your camp.
For an additional fee, visit the Masai local villages. The Maasai have inhabited these plains for centuries, and your guide will share his knowledge and expertise with you. Learn about the region’s flora and fauna and how the Maasai people utilize the plants. Your guide will reveal the hidden secrets of the African savannah, such as finding medicine in the bush and tracking wildlife and birds.
After this enlightening and captivating excursion, visit the Maasai manyattas. At this local village, a Maasai guide will provide an intriguing account of the Maasai people and their ancient traditions. You will have the chance to witness firsthand an ancient way of life that still thrives on the Mara plains today. Finally, join in some traditional Masai dance.

Nairobi - After breakfast, bid farewell to the Masai Mara as you embark on your journey back to Nairobi. Drive down the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi, passing the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot, and lakes Elementaita and Naivasha along the way. Keep an eye out for herds of giraffes and gazelles as you ascend the escarpment. You will arrive in Kenya’s bustling capital city, Nairobi, in the late afternoon.
Spend some time doing last-minute shopping before heading to the airport, where you will bid farewell to your driver guide until next time.
