Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park
Tsavo National Park West - Following breakfast, the journey from Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park begins, arriving just in time for lunch at the lodge. An afternoon game drive is scheduled until sunset. The park features a variety of habitats, including open plains, savannah bush, semi-desert scrub, acacia woodlands, rocky ridges, and outcrops. With a permanent water source, the park promises large herds and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, including cheetahs, lions, leopards, hyenas, and elephants. Overnight stay at Kilaguni Serena Lodge or Ngulia Lodge.
Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park - Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departing for Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and the stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain. The snow-capped peak is occasionally shrouded by clouds. Relax and enjoy the sun-heated swimming pool before embarking on another afternoon game drive. Return in time for a warm shower or perhaps a drink before dinner. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park - An early morning game drive is followed by breakfast back at camp. Spend the entire day in the park with a packed lunch, seeking out its famous residents, including well-known predators and their prey, such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, all with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later, return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Amboseli - Lake Naivasha
Crater Lake Game Sanctuary - After breakfast, travel to Crater Lake Game Sanctuary, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. The sanctuary’s nature trails wind through the vegetation around the crater, offering plenty of wildlife, including over 170 bird species. In addition to the impressive birdlife, giraffes, zebras, and other plains wildlife are common residents. While walking, be mindful of buffaloes hiding in the woods. Crater Lake Game Sanctuary is less than an hour’s drive from Naivasha, partly along a dusty dirt road. Like Hell’s Gate National Park, exploring this park on foot is permitted.
Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Park
Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, drive to Masai Mara National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Known as the home of the “big five,” the reserve’s main attraction is the great migration of wildebeests and zebras from Tanzania’s Serengeti to the Mara. This annual event, occurring between July and September, is considered the greatest show on earth. These animals cross into Kenya via the Mara River, where you might witness crocodiles lurking underwater, only to suddenly emerge and capture the migrating wildebeests and zebras.
Masai Mara National Park
Maasai Mara National Reserve - A pre-breakfast morning game drive offers the chance to witness animals hunting, followed by a return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, choose between another game drive, relaxing by the pool, or visiting the Masai villages.
OR
Optional Balloon Flight
Take advantage of the opportunity to soar over the Mara in a hot air balloon, available at an additional cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If budget allows, viewing the abundant wildlife from a balloon is an unforgettable experience.
