Maasai Mara National Reserve - Today, guests will be collected from either the airport or their hotel for a pre-departure meeting, either at the hotel or airport, depending on their preference. The journey begins with a drive through the scenic viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Narok County, the land of the Maa people. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is part of the expansive Serengeti plains, renowned for the spectacular wildebeest migration and home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. The intercounty borders separate these two magnificent national parks. Arrive for lunch at the lodge/camp and relax before embarking on an afternoon game drive.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - On the second day, guests will start their day with a delicious breakfast. A full-day game drive in the reserve awaits, complete with a picnic lunch. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is a preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, near the Tanzanian border. The Mara Triangle, bordering the Mara River, features lush grasslands and acacia woodlands, ideal for game drives. The Mara is famous for the Great Migration, occurring annually from July to September, when over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes migrate from the Serengeti to the Mara in search of food and water.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Lake Naivasha National Park

Lake Naivasha - After breakfast, guests will head south, passing through Naivasha town and driving around the southern end of the lake, past the flower farms to the entrance of Hell’s Gate National Park. Upon entering the park, the impressive landscape reveals a semi-arid world with rugged cliffs, open plains, and hidden gorges. An afternoon boat ride, available at an additional cost, offers views of hippo colonies on Lake Naivasha. Activities in Hell’s Gate include walking, cycling, rock climbing, bird watching, and trekking through the gorge among the geysers. Enjoy a picnic lunch, then depart mid-afternoon for accommodation on Lake Naivasha, where a hot shower and a cold drink await.

Lake Naivasha National Park - Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - Depart for Amboseli via Nairobi in the morning after breakfast, driving south through Maasai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro, where Amboseli is located. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route with the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and witness spectacular wildlife such as lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalo, and various plains animals. Capture postcard-perfect pictures before returning to the hotel after an afternoon game drive.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park - Start the day with a hearty breakfast. Spend the entire day in Amboseli National Park, with morning and afternoon game drives. This park is known as an animal paradise. Enjoy a packed lunch en route to the northern side of Amboseli National Park, with the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro and stunning wildlife displays. The hills offer panoramic views of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of bird species. The western section features the vast Lake Amboseli, often dry outside the rainy season.

Amboseli National Park - Nairobi (JKIA)

JKIA - Passenger Drop Off - Breakfast is served at 7:00 am, and guests will be picked up by their driver/guide at 7:30 am. Conclude the time in Amboseli with an early drive back to Nairobi, marking the end of the tour.
