Nairobi - Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, guests will be met and assisted before being transferred to the Best Western Meridian Hotel for an overnight stay.

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - Guests will be picked up from their Nairobi hotel at 07:30 hrs for a safari briefing with our tour consultant. The journey to the Masai Mara Game Reserve begins, offering breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. The Masai Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti and is one of Kenya’s premier game-viewing destinations, spanning 700 square miles of stunning wilderness. This is the Africa of dreams, with endless acacia-dotted grasslands and misty hills. An afternoon game drive will provide the opportunity to witness the Big 5, including lions in large prides, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and numerous plains game.

Masai Mara

Mara River - After breakfast, guests will head out with a picnic lunch to the Mara River, hoping to witness a dramatic river crossing. It’s an incredible sight to see the herds take a leap of faith into the Mara or Talek rivers, with Nile crocodiles waiting below. Guests will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - The day will be spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5 and following the wildebeest migration. Morning and afternoon game drives are available. Mara Leisure Lodge or Sopa Lodge offers a diverse and abundant wildlife experience, with over 450 species recorded. Guests can expect to see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, various antelopes, and elephants. The Mara is home to one of nature’s most spectacular events: the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in search of water and pasture, followed by the savanna’s predators, including lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Nairobi - After breakfast, guests will drive back to Nairobi, with a stop for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley at the viewpoint, arriving in Nairobi at approximately 13:00 hrs. (Optional lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant: US$ 45 per person)
