Meru National Park - Begin your journey from Nairobi early in the morning, embarking on a road safari to Meru National Park, which takes approximately 5 hours. Along the way, enjoy the stunning landscapes, including views of the snow-capped Mount Kenya. The road winds through deep valleys, particularly after Embu town, where you can pause for sightseeing at several points.
Stop for lunch in Meru or Maua town, where you can also observe numerous miraa plantations.
Arrive at Murera gate around 3 pm. Spend the afternoon in Meru National Park, tracking animals in their natural habitat.

Samburu National Reserve - After breakfast, depart Meru for a full day in Samburu National Reserve. Spend the day exploring this remarkable game reserve, which refreshes the mind due to its low visitor numbers. It is home to the “Big Five”—Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo—as well as Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gravy Zebra, Besia Oryx, Endangered Wild Dog, and Pancake Tortoise. Over 450 bird species have been identified, along with aquatic species in the Waso Nyiro River, including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, and Somali ostriches. Enjoy a full day of game drives in the park.
