Kenya Safari Experience as a Solo Traveler - I found this travel agency by chance, and I couldn’t be more grateful that I did. As a solo traveler, I quickly realized that safaris can be quite expensive, especially when comparing prices from different agencies. From our very first contact, George, the office manager, took care of everything with great attention and patience. I asked many questions to make sure the experience would meet my expectations, and he was always responsive and helpful. I’m happy to say that I secured an excellent price for my safari, and the experience exceeded my expectations. I stayed at a beautiful safari camp called Jambo, in a glass cabin that made me feel completely immersed in nature. During the safari, I was lucky enough to see all of the Big Five. I absolutely loved Masai Mara, and one of the highlights of my trip was the additional day at Lake Nakuru, which was exceptional with its acacia trees and incredible variety of wildlife. George also assisted me with my train tickets to Mombasa and even helped with dinner reservations, which made the whole trip seamless and stress-free. I can only say thank you, and I highly recommend this agency to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. A small note from my experience: be sure to double-check prices, as some companies may charge significantly more for the same itinerary.

Fantastic first safari with Charo! - I went on the 3-day group join Masai Mara safari with my friend, and we joined 4 other guests. We are two young women travelers and this was a great selection. Our guide, Charo, was kind and knowledgeable about all of the animals. He was timely for our trip, and even included some fun surprises in the park. He made it his mission to help us find all of the Big 5, and we did! He was in contact with the other drivers in the park, so he was able to drive us over if there was an important sight, such as a leopard or a pack of lions. Overall, the trip was very safe for solo travels and lots of fun. This is a budget safari, so you’re staying in tented camps rather than a lodge- but it’s alright for two nights and the tents have bathrooms and showers in them. I’d recommend this safari to anyone! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience :)

Unforgettable Maasai Mara Experience - Our safari in the Maasai Mara was exceptional from start to finish. The logistics were handled with precision; the airport pickup was spot on time, and the transfer to meet our guide was seamless. The Wildlife The density of wildlife was staggering. We successfully tracked down 4 out of the Big Five, alongside a spectacular variety of other species. Highlights included: Predators: Lions (including a lioness on a fresh kill—an incredible sight) and crocodiles. Giants: Majestic elephants and towers of giraffes. River Life: Plenty of hippos. Our Guide A massive thank you to our guide, Charo. He was absolutely flawless and dedicated. His expertise and intuition were the reasons we saw so much; he even managed to position us perfectly to witness a lioness with her kill, which was a true highlight of the trip. Accommodation We stayed at the Jumbo Mara Lodge, which I highly recommend. It offered a peaceful atmosphere and was staffed by a dedicated, attentive team. It provided the perfect balance of comfort and tranquility after long days out on the plains. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-standard, reliable safari experience.

Masai Mara - Our experience in the Mara was absolutely incredible, we got to see so many animals up close and capture lots of memorable photos to share with family and friends that weren’t able to join us. Charo was a lovely guide and did his best to ensure that we saw every member of the big 5, was incredibly accommodating for all of our pesky requests to adjust the parking of the vehicle to capture the perfect shot! 100% would recommend.

Oh, great. Quite a security - All wonderful. We were a group of 9 friends with a 4-year-old boy. The accommodation is fine, tent with attached bathroom, without expecting great luxuries as we are inside the reserve. The food, buffet, fine. The driver, Sammy, perfect, very attentive and explaining everything. But the best thing, Ellisabeth and George, the managers; what could have been a travel disaster because we were delayed and arrived 9 hours late, they arranged everything to be picked up and solved the problem. The airline lost our suitcase and they picked it up the next day and handled the transfer. Anyway, they make you feel like they care about everything at all times. I spoke English, but you can hire a guide in Spanish.

Searching for the Big Five - The 4 days in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park were a great experience for animal lovers/fans of wildlife watching. We were able to spot many different animals very close and felt very comfortable at any time. Our Landrover was spacious, cozy and offered a good view of the animals. Our guide Lulu (Ron) was super cool, friendly and allowed us to meet animals close by. We would want to go on a safari with him again. He told us a lot about the animals and informed us well about all the steps of the tour. This tour is highly recommended and a must for the Big Five experience.

On the Game After the Big 5 - We had 4 lovely days in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park. We were able to observe a lot of animals very close and felt very comfortable at any time. Our Landrover for animal mocking was cozy and has a good view. Our guide Lulu (Ron) gave us great animal encounters and was always very friendly and good. We had a very good time with him and can only recommend spending the days with him. We were always well informed about the further planning and also about the animals he could tell us a lot. There is a lot to see on this tour, we recommend it.

ITALIAN'S IN SAFARI - The experience was sublime! We have no complaints to make, Lulu was almost a friend more than a guide. Always ready to joke, prepared on any question one asked him, punctual, well organized and very accommodating! The atmosphere in which we lived these days was like a movie, all wonderful, fun to look for animals hidden in the trees and bushes. Surely if someone asked us the agency used for the safari we will make your name!!

I recomend perfect Safaris - We did the four-day safari through Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru with Civitatis, managed by Perfect Safaris. Overall, the experience was very positive. First of all, I want to highlight the work of our guide Francis. He was exceptional: he shared with us both the culture of Kenya and his passion for its wildlife. He has a special talent for spotting animals and explaining everything in a clear and engaging way. I also want to thank Damaris and George from the Perfect Safaris team for their excellent support. Especially Damaris, who had been in touch with us before the trip, always answering our questions with great patience and professionalism. As for the safari itself, the organization was very good: comfortable transport, an excellent guide, and decent food. The only part we didn’t enjoy as much was the accommodation in Masai Mara. We spent two nights in a camp that was quite old and run-down. Although the staff were very kind and kept everything clean, it was below the standard I am used to. After doing some research, I realized that accommodations in the area are very expensive, so for the price we paid, it was understandable. Still, I would recommend paying a bit more to stay somewhere of higher quality. I also think it would be very helpful if Civitatis and Perfect Safaris showed real photos of the lodges on their websites, so travelers know exactly what to expect. As a suggestion, I believe the ideal route would be: two days in Masai Mara, one day in Lake Nakuru, and finishing with a boat ride on Lake Naivasha before returning. In our case, we missed out on this and I think it would make more sense than having a rest day in the middle of the safari. In my opinion, a four-day safari is perfect—any longer might get tiring. In conclusion, I highly recommend Perfect Safaris. They managed everything with great professionalism and always responded quickly to any issues. Our guide Francis was outstanding, and Simba, who drove us back to Nairobi, was also wonderful. I leave very happy after seeing the Big Five—this has been an unforgettable experience.
