Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park - You’ll be picked up from the hotel at 0730hrs for a safari briefing session with Back Of Africa Adventure, followed by a drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp. After lunch, enjoy afternoon game drives before returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay. The park spans 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and occasionally leopards. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago, with white rhinos found at the southern end. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, boasting over 400 bird species.
Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara Game Reserve

The Mara is also the stage for the spectacular annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in search of water and pasture, followed by predators like lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

Lake Victoria - After breakfast, leave the camp and proceed to Tanzania via the Isebania Border, heading to Speke Camp. Spend the afternoon fishing or taking a boat ride at an additional cost. Speke Camp is located on the southeastern shore of Lake Victoria in Tanzania, East Africa, 15 kilometers from the Serengeti National Park. Named after the explorer John Hanning Speke, who discovered Lake Victoria as the source of the Nile in 1858, the camp resembles a small village stretched along the lake’s shores.

The Serengeti National Park is considered one of the most impressive wildlife sanctuaries in the world. From December to March, the southern Serengeti and Conservation Area are home to enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra grazing on rain-ripened grass. During the calving season (late January to mid-March), the herds gather on the Ndutu and Salei plains, attracting predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Enjoy game viewing as you drive southeast into the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at the Olduvai Gorge with a picnic lunch en route, then spend the night at the Rhino Campsite on the crater rim. The Olduvai Gorge features rock beds layered in a time sequence from 2 million years ago to the present, where humanoid bones dating back over 1.75 million years have been found, including a direct ancestor of modern humans. Fossil footprints over three million years old have also been discovered here. The site museum offers guided tours of the diggings and is a great place to view birds like the purple grenadier, red and yellow barbet, speckle-fronted weaver, and slaty-colored boubou.

Ngorongoro Crater - After a leisurely breakfast, descend into the crater for a full-day tour with packed lunches. Ascend the crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay at Rhino Campsite. The Ngorongoro Crater, often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ is a major attraction for tourists visiting Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home to the crater, which formed around 2.5 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity. Initially thought to be higher than Kilimanjaro, the crater has become a unique and integral part of Tanzania’s ecosystem. The caldera measures 22.5 km across, with rim walls standing 600m high. The crater houses 30,000 animals and a wide variety of birds, which rarely leave the area due to the constant availability of water.

Arusha - After breakfast, depart for Arusha, arriving by lunchtime. Board an afternoon shuttle bus to Nairobi, departing at 1400 hrs and arriving at 1800 hrs. You’ll be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
