• 3 Chome - Please gather at the store near Makishi Monorail Station. It’s just a 1-minute walk from the station. We’ll collect our electric bicycles and provide a brief orientation to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride.
• Shuri Kannondo - Discover the Kannon Bodhisattva, the guardian deity of the Ryukyu Kingdom, along with exquisite carvings and decorations. Enjoy a panoramic view of Shuri’s cityscape from the vibrant vermilion temple.
• Ankoku-ji Temple - Journey through Naha’s local area, where traditional houses still stand. Upon reaching the temple, which has upheld Okinawan Buddhism for over 500 years, you’ll be welcomed by an ancient gate and a majestic banyan tree.

• Shuri Castle - This iconic ceremonial gate represents Okinawa. Capture a photo with your bicycle in front of the gate, known for its striking vermilion hue and harmonious design.
• Sairaiin (Daruma Temple) - This temple attracts many pilgrims who come to pray for health and fertility, expressing gratitude for their lives. It’s a must-visit for its bright red daruma dolls and the enchanting beauty of the torii gates.

The tour is designed to allow you to experience a little-seen part of Okinawan culture. Cycling around the back alleys of the city with your local guide, you will embark on a pilgrimage to the various Zodiac shrines of Naha and Shuri. You will have the chance to witness modern-day Okinawans observe worship traditions dating all the way back to the Ryukyu Kingdom era. This is your opportunity to experience for yourself shrines, temples, sacred springs, royal mausoleums, and more in the unique Ryukyuan style.
