• Nago Pineapple Park - Enjoy a ride on a Pineapple Cart through the park! As you pass through the botanical garden, you’ll arrive at a dinosaur park area. Afterwards, indulge in tasting various pineapple products and shop at numerous stores. At the end, there’s a terrace café where takeout is available.
• Kouri-jima - This island boasts a blue sea and white sandy beach, home to an Okinawan version of the Adam & Eve myth. The 1,960m long bridge offers a breathtaking ocean view, making it feel like you’re driving on the sea! Upon arrival, enjoy a walk at Kouri Beach and shop at the nearby public market filled with subtropical fruits and vegetables! While crossing the Kouri Great Bridge, keep an eye out for sea turtles!
• Warumi Ohashi - An arch bridge linking Nakijin Village and Yagaji Island. The green sea of the Warumi Strait offers a unique view only seen here! Enjoy the scenery from the bus window.
• Okinawa Memorial Park Ocean Expo Park - The highlight here is the whale sharks and manta rays in one of the world’s largest tanks! There are many attractions, including charming dolphin shows; the Tropical Dream Center with numerous subtropical flowers (admission required); Oceanic Culture Museum with a Planetarium (admission required); and a Native Okinawan Village, a replica of a village from the Ryukyu Kingdom era. Last summer (2021), sea turtles and manatees welcomed new babies! Visit the “Sea Turtle Pool” and “Manatee Pool” to see them! ※Okichan Theater/Dolphin show (Free/duration is about 10 min) ※There are several restaurants in the Ocean Expo Park. Lunch is on your own.
• Okashigoten Onna Branch - This shop offers a wide variety of sweets made from Okinawa-grown fruits. After shopping, you’ll receive a “Beniimo Tart” as a gift♪ Only the finest locally produced purple yam is used to make this pioneer of Okinawan sweets. You can watch how “Beniimo Tart” is made and purchase them at this store. It’s a truly special experience!
• Cape Manzamo - Named the ‘plain where ten thousand people can sit’ by a Ryukyu king. Enjoy the contrast of the blue sea and the steep cliff. The remarkable “Elephant Rock” is a must-see! ※Starting on Nov. 11, 2020, there is a 100 Yen charge per person to access the promenade part of the facility. Payment is made on-site. Children under 6 years are free.
