Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology is a must see - We met our tour guide (Nori) at the Toyota Museum of Industry and Technology. This museum is absolutely one of the best thought out and planned museums we have ever been to. There were many employees in the museum stationed to explain and demonstrate technologies. While we were going through the exhibits, as we got near the end of each exhibit, Nori would step forward and catch the attention of the next exhibitor so we could get personalized attention. As we asked questions, Nori also asked questions in order for us to learn as much as possible. Nori kept us on track given time constraints and the fact that this museum is huge. Having a personal/knowledgeable tour guide allowed us to learn more than just walking around and reading the various signs and plaques. This museum is not just about cars. The museum starts out with the beginning of the company, and spoiler alert, it has nothing to do with cars. We even learned why the Toyoda family chose to name their company Toyota. (You'll have to go to find out) There is something for everybody to enjoy. After the museum, we went to Toyota Castle. It was raining and the line to get in was very long, so we opted to not wait in line. Nori wanted us to be able to see something since we were already there. He made arrangements for us to tour a different building on the castle grounds. Nori is a knowledgeable, personable tour guide. His english is easy to understand. We would definitely recommend this tour and Nori as the guide.
