Best of Nagasaki in a Half Day with Hiro! - We booked a half day tour via Viator for our large group of 13 people that was conducted by Nagasaki Private Tours, led by Hiro Takahashi. Despite it being a half day tour, we were able to see all the important and most impressive sights in Nagasaki, such as the beautiful historical Glover Garden, the touching Nagasaki Peace Park and somber Atomic Bomb Museum, the breathtaking views from Mount Inasa ("10 million dollar night view"), Spectacle Bridge, etc. Our tour guide Hiro is an excellent English speaker who had studied in the US. He was friendly, patient, very knowledgeable and knew all the best places for castella, champon, and saraudon, the noodle specialties of Nagasaki. I'd highly recommend Hiro and Nagasaki Private Tours anytime you visit Nagasaki!

Great tour of Nagasaki by car! - Had Joe, originally from England, as our English speaking! Glad we had Joe as our tour guide as he was naturally very fluent in English and knew how to get around the city. Great tour of Nagasaki!

A personal tour of Nagasaki - Our visit to Nagasaki was a very sobering exerience. Our guide, Vichka, met us at the cruise ship terminal as scheduled. We visited the historic sites around the city and had an opportunity to ask many questions since it was a private tour. She was very knowledgeable about the city and gave us her undivided attention. What a lovely person who was an excellent guide. Private tours are the way to go when visiting a city. You don't get herded around like you do on a large group tour.

Wonderful day in Nagasaki - What a wonderful way to explore Nagasaki. We must thank Hiro for a very special day. Although very rainy our visit to Nagasaki has been one of the most memorable on this trip. We were picked up from the port in a new vehicle and taken to the Peace Park and then the museum. Very informative and at the same time quite humbling. Although the weather was less than stellar Hiro took us to a rarely visited and incredibly beautiful temple. No one else there. The beauty of this place, Takinokannon Temple is one of the highlights so far on this excursion.
