relaxing morning in Nadi - Travelled to Fiji with young daughter, and wanted a safe option for a stress-free tour on the island. Our flight was delayed, and we missed the original pickup, however our airport taxi driver called Rakesh and coordinated a meet up point for us. Rakesh (the tour operator for this tour) is an absolute gentleman, and has a spotless vehicle and exceptionally polite manner. I wish that I had looked more carefully at the Viator page and contacted him directly before booking, as he can provide extra information and options. In addition, it would have been helpful to be able to text him that we were running behind! We felt safe and well taken care of, which is very important for female travelers, especially after an international flight. We met at the beautiful temple, where he helped us with the appropriate cultural customs and took photos for us to remember the moment. From there he took us to a curio store called Jacks of Fiji, so that we could look at handcrafts and find souvenirs (they take cards). We stopped at the fruit market. The other two passengers (lovely women) bought some pretty pineapples. We got freshly made roti and some drinks for $5fjd. There were some takeaway vendors if you wanted a larger meal or you could buy fruit from the market. From there we visited the Sleeping Giant orchid gardens. Slow down there and smell the flowers - each one has its own special scent. You are given a tasty cold drink after your garden walk. As we went through the countryside, Rakesh pointed out interesting features and history. The last stop was at the mud/hotsprings. It was very relaxing to float in the hot pools. I would absolutely do this tour again! If we pass by Fiji in the future, I'll be calling Rakesh ahead of time to get help with transport, trip ideas etc. He is your "Friend in Fiji" for sure. Great combination of activities for an afternoon of fun and sightseeing - We really enjoyed this tour. It would have been nice to have more time at each place but we knew going in that there were a lot of places to see and that it was a half-day tour. As much as we enjoyed everything we did, the tour guide was more of a driver than a guide. That suited us fine but for people looking for more history and local anecdotes, this might not be for you. But if you want to see a lot of interesting places in a short time and do the mud baths, highly recommend. Great price too.

Wonderful experience! - We had such a wonderful time during our Tour with Rakesh! He was such a great guide, telling us stories and facts about Fiji. We shared stories among the 4 of us and had a good laugh throughout! My highlight was the mud pools! Shoutout to the Scottish lady on our tour (with me and my husband) good stories and good laughs!

Wonderful shore excursion with Rakesh - When you see the name Fiji Golf and Transfer, you might think Rakesh is only about gold and you might not be interested in that, but he also offers a superb day tour whether you’re in on a cruise ship or staying on the island. Rakesh used to caddy for Vijay Singh, and is very plugged into the local golf scene, so if that’s what you want, he’s your man, but he does so much more. We booked his Discover Nadi tour, and he picked us up early at our cruise port in a comfortable air conditioned sedan, though he also has a large van for groups. We stopped first at a local village where he introduced us to a woman who walked us through and told us about her life in the village. He then he took us to the beautiful Hindu temple, downtown to the craft market, and on to a really good lunch at the beach. He managed to do this by slipping in and out of all the places just before the bus tours pulled up. We finished off with a stop at a local fruit and flower market. As we were driving, he gave us a great history of the islands and their people, and was just wonderful company.

Good experience - Nice tour exploring the history of Nadi, good little activity to do to get to know more about the history of the town, tour guide and tour driver were super friendly and very welcoming, would recommend it

First time exploring Fiji - The hot springs was so good. The Sabeto Mud springs and hot bath was a great experience. And Avi our tour guide was very helpful and friendly.

Informative tour, but room for improvement - Avi delivered a great tour for us, had lots of knowledge about the Fiji and Indian culture. The gift shop stop was a definite scam though, stopped there longer than the temple and so early in the tour it was almost like we were pressured into buying overpriced gifts and didn't want to dispute it in case it affected the rest of the tour. The garden of the sleeping giant was great though along with the mud baths.
