Lessons begin on land with a 15-20 minute dry training session that focuses on the correct techniques for paddling, popping up, and maintaining balance.
After mastering the basics, ocean safety and water conditions are reviewed at the water’s edge.
Then, it’s time to hit the waves! The rest of the lesson is spent in the water with your instructor, practicing everything learned on land.
Our enthusiastic and supportive instructors will help you refine your timing, stance, and positioning on the wave to maximize your success. Before you know it, you’ll be riding waves and enjoying the thrill of surfing! You’ll be thrilled you caught the surf bug at Jack’s Surf Lessons in Myrtle Beach.

The only thing you need to bring is your swimming costume, as we’ll provide the surfboard; all set for a fabulous time riding the waves.
