• Archaeological Site Mycenae - The journey from the Attica region to Mycenae takes approximately 1.5 hours. Along the way, travelers will enjoy views of the Saronic Gulf and receive information about the day’s destinations. Upon arrival in Mycenae, visitors will experience the enchanting atmosphere of the hometown of Agamemnon, the legendary leader of the Trojan War. Guests will explore his tomb and envision the significant events that occurred 3,200 years ago. The visit to Mycenae lasts about an hour before proceeding to the next destination, Nafplion, a 30-minute drive away.
• Palamidi Castle - In Nafplion, visitors will explore the Palamidi Fortress, a medieval structure built by the Venetians in 1715. Perched on a mountain above the old town, the castle offers stunning photo opportunities. The visit lasts an hour before heading to the Old Town of Nafplion.
• Nafplio - Nafplion, a charming and romantic town, was the first capital of the newly formed Greek state. Visitors can shop for handmade products in the quaint shops lining the narrow streets or savor Greek cuisine at local taverns and enjoy ice cream at gelaterias in the central square. (Note: Food and drinks are not included in the tour price.) The stay in Nafplion is 2 hours, followed by a 30-minute drive to the final stop, Ancient Epidaurus.
• The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus - At this site, visitors will discover the most exquisite Greek Ancient Theatre in Epidavros, renowned for its exceptional acoustics and aesthetics, where summer theatrical performances continue to be held. Guests will be captivated by the knowledge that Ancient Greeks once watched the great tragedies of Sophocles and Aeschylus here. The Epidaurus Ancient Theatre was dedicated to Asklepios, the God of Medicine, and visitors can explore the Asklepieion, the ancient world’s first health center, located within the theatre’s vicinity. The visit lasts about 2 hours before returning to the drop-off point in Attica, a 1.5-hour drive away.
