Cenote Zapote is well worth it! - My husband and I booked a trip with Cenote Zapote through our hotel and we were not disappointed. We ended up being the only ones on our tour and Giovanni, our guide, was excellent. Leticia was our photographer and she got some amazing photos. We had a wonderful time seeing the different cenotes, ziplining, and enjoying delicious Mayan cuisine. Bring a suit and some gym shorts. A pair of water shoes and goggles are helpful, but not strictly necessary. Bring cash so you can tip your guide, the Mayan cooks, and your driver, for sure.

Beautiful cenote experience - This tour was everything!! We happened upon the site after looking for a different cenote, but they set us up with a tour guide (Oscar) who took us to 4 very different cenotes, each one beautiful in its own way. Oscar was very relaxed and kind and spoke great English--we felt very comfortable following him around the site. The cenotes were not crowded at all and we often had a cenote all to ourselves. I would absolutely book again!

Great cenote experience - We had a great time. The cenotes were breathtaking and the people were lovely. Would definitely recommend! We went without an organized tour booked in advance , which is a good option as long as you have transportation there and back. There is a zipline into one of the cenotes that was fun. We didn’t do the other zip lines or ATVs (not our thing). The changing facilities and dining area were clean and beautiful. We didn’t eat the meal there but it smelled delicious. We had multiple cenotes all to ourselves. Jorge and Enrique were great!

BEST CENOTE TO DISCONNECT! - We were 13 people and had an amazing time, the cenotes are beautiful, the attention is excellent, Randy was our guide and is very attentive, fun, was a great support and never left us alone. The buffet food I liked, it is perfect to eat after having tired in the experience. I recommend improving quality of bikes and vests!

Great for first time cenote visitors! - Spent a morning here while traveling for work. What a great experience! I was traveling solo by car, and wanted a non-excursion/non-bus tour cenote option that offered multiple cenotes. Cenote Zapote Ecopark was a perfect fit. Fairly easy to navigate to on Rute de los Cenotes with plenty of parking. Oskar was a fabulous guide, providing history and peace of mind given I was traveling solo. The park itself is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive. I’ll be back! A few things to keep in mind: - There are multiple admission options, but note that you do need to utilize the four wheeler transportation provided by the staff in order to experience 2 of the 4 cenotes, as they are a distance away from the main entrance. - You must be accompanied by a guide, which is included in your admission fee. It’s well worth it to learn the history of the area and for safety. - Bring cash to tip your guide. - Food options are available, as are lockers, bathrooms/changing areas. All clean and well maintained.

fresh water nature and fun - You are in the middle of the Mayan jungle surrounded by nature and zapote trees the experience of the 4 cenotes is best are 2 open zapote and palms and the two cabernas are out of this world Grandpa is a small but prehistoric cave and zoiche is the crown of the place as that cavern has shallow parts and others that if they are always wear your vest to avoid accidents. the zip lines I do not recommend them as the staff is not trained in safety measures and if you have the opportunity omit them and focus on enjoying everything that has to give the cenotes......

Wow!!! - I’m so glad we booked this excursion! We visited two open air cenote and two in caves. The open Cenotes had a zip line and jumping platforms and the inside ones were absolutely stunning. I don’t know if we got lucky or it is always like this, but our family of four were alone at each cenote which made it feel special. Having got our own taxi out there we then hired quad bikes as it’s not practical to walk to all the Cenotes. The bikes were great and the kids particularly enjoyed it when we had to go out on the open road. The visit could probably be completed in about 3 hours without lunch, though we stayed to eat, meaning we were there for about 4.5 hours. I’d recommend this trip to anyone visiting the area.

Nature was lovely - Their transportation was very late beforehand, and nobody from Zapote bothered to apologize. The scenery was beautiful, but we didn't feel like people were doing their best on the day we visited. Nice views!
