Dream beach day - only wish we could have stayed longer! - Absolutey gorgeous beach to spend a few hours on a cruise stop. This was a last minute booking after our snorkeing excursion was cancelled due to wind. But what a lucky change of events! Kuza Beach was even better than a snorkeling excursion! Henry was our tour guide who met us at the cruise port and he was funny, informative, and helped us feel cared for and in good hands. He was awesome and helped make the day enjoyable. He told us when and where to meet back for our transport back to the port and he was there waiting and got us back to the cruise port on time. Danny was a great driver too. The beach was on the calmer side of the island and was stunning! Soft sand, easy calm water to swim and snorkel in and the chairs are nice and what a beautiful setting. We did the "all inclusive" which included buffet lunch and drinks. The food was tasty and fresh; drinks were ok - a bit on the sweet side and light on alcohol. The margaritas were fresh and tasty though! The only downside was not enough time on the beach! We would love to spend a few days here. They say a resort is in the works in the next 5 years. We would love to return if that comes to fruition. Photos were taken at the end of our beach day so it looks empty but there was a fair amount of people there during our stay. Makes me want to plan a trip to Cozumel!

Lovely VIP beach day - We had a one day VIP pass for 2 for Kuza beach in Cozumel. It was very well organized. They picked us up at the port (from our cruise ship), drove us to the beach, welcomed us and took good care of us while there. Our guide, Gabo, was charming. The buffet was nothing special, but it was filling and lots of variety. Drinks were good. A little confusing as to what was included and what was considered a premium upgrade. Overall had a wonderful day floating in the warm Caribbean waters and lounging in shaded lounge chairs.

KUZÁ beach resort well worth a visit - We had a wonderful day at this all-inclusive beach resort and felt it was excellent value for money. There were plenty of sunbeds available, so we never had any trouble finding a spot. A waiter regularly came around to take drink orders and was extremely polite, professional, and attentive. He was always nearby, making sure we were well looked after throughout the day. The buffet restaurant offered a wide variety of Mexican food. The beach itself was clean and well maintained, and the water was beautifully clear. Everything ran very smoothly from start to finish. Just to be aware, the taxi cost was $30 each way and the journey took around 15 minutes. The resort is still being developed, with some building work nearby, but this did not affect our beach experience at all. Overall, this is an up-and-coming resort and we would definitely recommend it.

Fun in the sun (or shade) - I searched high and low to find an excursion that checked all of the boxes for our my entire family. We were all smiles by the time we left KUZÁ! The staff members were warm and welcoming. Enrique gave us an overview of the park and Tony guided us to the beach area. The massages are amazing and reasonably priced. You can also take a trip from here to popular snorkeling spots. It’s a very relaxing and family-friendly vibe. You can sit near the music and activities or be farther away for peace and quiet. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas and the drink service was excellent. The buffet provided a variety of options and there were two restaurants from which to choose. There are lockers and towels for a cost. The restrooms are kept clean. I took a mixology class at the La Sirena bar with Christopher “The Doctor” and since it was just me, I was able to ask all the questions I wanted! We started by sampling three tequilas and two Mezcals (pace yourself!), then I made 4 very different cocktails. Chris was also kind enough to share the recipes so I can make these at home and wow my friends with my new mixology skills! KUZÁ is new (opened in April) and I think its popularity as a go-to Cozumel destination will only grow as it continues to expand its offerings. Soon, visitors will have access to a water park, zip lining and nature walking trail. We can’t wait to go back and take advantage of all it will have to offer. Tips: -Taxi costs $35 each way to/from Puerto Langosta -Our ship (RC) offered this as an excursion but it cost a lot more than Trip Advisor. Granted, they had the “VIP Experience” and transportation but the only difference I saw was a private section others can’t access. Perhaps they had their own food as well? We were able to stay longer so I preferred booking own my own. -Come early because you’ll want to spend as much time here as possible! -If cruising, give yourself a little extra time to get back because there’s more traffic later in the afternoon. The ride there was about 25 minutes but the ride back to the port was about 40.

Fun family place - Our driver Rafael and our tour guide Renaldo were the best. The beach was fantastic and so relaxing. The food buffet was very good with crispy fried fish and the kids loved the jello. Flan would have been nice. Daniel our waiter was fast accurate and pleasant. We got henna tattoos and one grandchild got her hair braided. These were a bit on the expensive side but these artists didn’t disappoint

Not worth the $ - Not really worth the money paid, they still charge you for all “premium” drinks as well as most basic food like guacamole is not included, the buffet is very basic and includes things like quesadillas. For what we paid which ended up being $90 per adult without transportation it was just not justified. Plus most of the park is still under construction and so you really only have beach access, and the day we went was windy so there was no “activities”. Next time we are in Cozumel we will likely go to Paradise Beach instead.

Bad experience - We paid $280 for me & my husband, totally not worth the cost. The water park and Lazy River was not open. The Razor experience was just ok. We were taken by tram to VIP area that was not close, long walk to Buffet and rest rooms. Rude workers. No waiter service at beach lounge chairs. Beautiful resort but too spread out. We won’t be going back.
