Amazing cooking experience in Cozumel - Booked the experience as one of our stops on our recent cruise. Quick walk from Royal Caribbean port to the restaurant. Staff was attentive from the moment of arrival. Instruction and participation was interactive throughout the experience. Food was amazing in taste and dishes were historically explained and described how they are prepared and served. The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. Guests prepare/cook tow dishes and you are served the rest of the food prepared by the specialists. I recommend this for anyone visiting Cozumel.

Delicious Mayan Cooking - The lesson included a comprehensive video, in-person instruction, and all of the ingredients and equipment needed to create several dishes. Other Mayan dishes were also included. It began with a Mayan ceremony and dancers. Links to ancient Mayan culture and the Spanish impact were explained. The food was delicious.

Amazing Mayan Cooking Experience - Highly recommend this excursion! The class was informative, fun, and delicious! The experience began with Mayan dancers and a traditional ceremony. We made sikil p’aat, a delicious pumpkin seed spread and guacamole for a yummy appetizer. The Lima Soup was absolutely outstanding. By the time we had pork with beans, a taco and a tostada, we were almost too stuffed—almost—for the delicious Mexican cornbread dessert. The restaurateur was so accommodating to our friends who have many dietary restrictions, even preparing something completely different that they could eat. Wonderful experience!

Mayan cultural culinary experience! - Fantastic time! I would call it a cultural culinary experience, as opposed to a class, since only during the first half do you truly make foods, and that is with prepared portions. However, I loved it this way, since it allowed us to try a large variety of Mayan dishes (similar to tapas), which would have been impossible with a regular cooking class. Absolutely worth it, would recommend to anyone who loves to learn about different cultures through their food.

Mayan cooking experience - Spent a little over two hours learning about traditional Mayan cooking. We made our own guacamole corn tortillas and a type of smoked salsa. Learned about and tasted other great dishes and drinks. Come with a big appetite! Only complaint would be it was a bit hard to hear in the loud space. Overall thoroughly enjoyed it!

Excellent experience enjoying Mayan Food - Myself, husband and son all enjoyed this cooking class and it was a highlight of our trip to Cozumel. All of the food that we were served or made ourselves was excellent. It was unique and fun way to have a meal and we would recommend it to all of our family and friends that visit Cozumel.

Not what I expected. - This wasn't much of a hands on cooking class. I enjoyed the more hands on and more private class I did a few years ago instead of a large group. The class started 39 minutes late waiting on cruise ship participates.
