⭐ KUZÁ Beach Club Cozumel — The Real Review - 🌴 Overall vibe KUZÁ Cozumel is the island’s newer, trend-forward beach club that’s all about creating that “VIP but make it accessible” feeling. Think: boho loungers, strong drinks, turquoise water, and a curated mellow soundtrack. It’s giving Cozumel’s attempt at Tulum energy, minus the pretension. If you want a step up from the packed, rowdy beach clubs but don’t need a butler—this is that sweet spot. ✔️ What People Generally Love ✨ Atmosphere is stunning Light woods, woven accents, palm umbrellas—whoever designed it said “this is going on Instagram and I know my worth.” ✨ Quiet, laid-back luxury It’s calmer than Nachi Cocom, less chaotic than Mr. Sanchos, and more polished than Paradise Beach. Not empty—just a civilized level of humans. ✨ Great service Servers are attentive, drinks come quickly, and they keep checking without being annoying. (It’s Cozumel… service isn’t always like this elsewhere.) ✨ Food is surprisingly good Fresh guac, solid tacos, and decent portions. Also: cocktails taste like cocktails, not melted popsicles. ✨ Clean bathrooms + modern facilities A very unsexy detail, but deeply important. They keep the place tidy. ⚠️ A Few Things to Know (aka: Don’t say I didn’t warn you) ⚠️ The beach itself is more “rocky shoreline + clear water” than powdery sand. Totally normal for parts of Cozumel, but if you’re imagining soft Riviera Maya sand… nope. The loungers and boardwalk areas are where you’ll hang out most. ⚠️ The VIP label is… aspirational. It’s elevated, yes. Luxury? Not quite. More like “nice boutique beach day.” ⚠️ It can feel cruise-passenger curated. Not in a bad way—just know it’s designed for the 6-hour vacation crowd. ⚠️ Pricey compared to older Cozumel beach clubs. But you’re paying for vibe + peace + design. Not the tequila-shot Olympics. 🎯 Who Will Love KUZÁ Cozumel Couples who want quiet + bougie-ish without full luxury prices Families and couples wanting low-key water sports- kayaking and paddleboards Travelers who appreciate aesthetic + good food People who want to relax, not be blasted by a DJ yelling “YOLO!” Anyone over the age of “I will absolutely do body shots at noon” 🤷‍♀️ Who Won’t Families wanting big water inflatables, loud party vibes, crazy contests People who want unlimited drinks for cheap Travelers expecting fine-dining luxury Hardcore snorkelers (the water is clear but not a major reef zone) 🏁 Final Verdict 9/10 — A beautifully designed, relaxing, modern beach club. Great service, great atmosphere, great drinks. Not the cheapest, but you’re paying to avoid chaos, which in Cozumel is… priceless

True luxurious getaway - Loved this experience! Will definitely come back. I've been into Cozumel many times, but this is my favorite excursion and paying for the VIP was well worth it!

Great excursion - Jorge the tour guide was great. The beach was wonderful. Our waiter, Fernando, was awesome. There was a long walk, with stairs, but they offered an alternative to those who could not do that.

Nice time, would book again - We booked this visit directly with Kuza and saved almost $300 for our family of 4 vs booking via the NCL excursions. We walked off the ship after a late breakfast and went straight to the taxi stand, which cost $35 each way to Kuza. The port area was really congested with 6 ships docking so the trip there took a bit longer than usual. We arrived at Kuza about 11:30, we left at 4pm and arrived at punta langosta at 4:30 for an all aboard time of 5pm. The park itself is nice but much of it appears to still be under construction. They are building a zip line and water park that seems like there will be a lazy river or pool area. Once completed that looks like it will be pretty cool and a nice addition. Once you check in they offer you a tram to drop you off at the beach area and then you have to walk a bit down the beach to reach the VIP area. This seems silly because there is a golf cart stop at VIP to take you back to the entrance so why not just drop VIPers there initially since they have paid a premium? You can choose a Bali bed or lounge chairs and there were plenty to choose from, both shaded and sunny. This area was quieter than the non VIP area with the blue chairs and I was glad we chose it. Our attendant was nice and checked in on us frequently, bringing us food or drinks when we asked. I had the mango mezcalita and it was good. The other foods like the chips and guac and pico de gallo were fine, nothing exquisite but not bad. My boys liked the quesadillas. The buffet was fine. The beach was a little steep to get in but the water was pleasant once you got past the rocky shell line. No sargassum but some sea grass floating, the water wasn’t super clear this day but the weather was windy and a bit cloudy, they had had some rain earlier before we arrived. My son was able to do some snorkeling and saw a crab and some bigger fish so he was happy. It was an overall quiet experience since the place starts clearing after lunch; and I would book it again and by booking on our own we got a full 4 hours at the park.

Not worth the price - Our group purchased several experiences: 2 of us bought VIP packages, 2 chose El Cielo, 2 opted for day passes, and 2 selected the water park. Unfortunately, the water park is not operational; it is still under construction and likely won't be finished for a long time. Those who purchased the El Cielo experience were denied the boat ride due to the weather. Although it only sprinkled a little in the early morning, the rest of the day was sunny. Instead of being offered access to the VIP section, they received a small refund and were left with standard access. General access: The food at the buffet was cold and lacked flavor and spice. The drinks were also disappointing. A perk of VIP was a server to bring you specialty VIP food and drinks; however, because the service was so slow, we opted to go to the VIP bar ourselves to order drinks directly. We weren't able to get our own VIP food options, or we would've done that; instead, we just had to wait for food. In my opinion, it cost way too much, and little was provided.

Didn’t feel like VIP Quality - Quite a bit of a walk to the VIP section from drop off point. VIP entrance is not monitored by staff and anyone can come into the area. We were not greeted by staff or servers upon VIP arrival/lounge chairs. Servers were not attentive to us and constantly walked by our lounge area and ignored us to take our order and seemed bothered. We never received our bottle of waters, champagne or lunch. Ordered a quesadilla and it took an hour to receive, when couple next to us ordered at same time and received food within 10 minutes of ordering. We didn’t get to experience one activity included in our package because staffing unavailable. I do recommend the Massage attendants who were very attentive and did an amazing massage. For the amount of money paid for this experience, I will not visit in the future.
