A fun and tasty experience - Great cooking class with Jazmin. We did it with kids 10, 12 and 15 years old and they had a good time. The recipes were really delicious and was a great hands-on experience. Make sure you show up with an appetite! The ceviche tostadas were especially tasty and one of the kids even cooked it again the very next night. We reached out directly to Jazmin to book and she was very responsive and kind.

Incredible "mexican Jazz" coocking experience. - It was a fantastic experience. Jazz, the cook, is so kind and passionate about local Mexican food that she conveys the experience from the very beginning.
The recipes were delicious, and her way of explaining everything is very clear and easy to understand.
I highly recommend having a Mexican cooking experience with Jazz.
I would do it again! ✨️✨️

The best! Do not miss it! - Hands down this was the best activity we did during our stay in PE. Not only did we make and eat delicious food but we also learned so much about Oaxacan culture. We loved it. I can’t wait to try and make it at home. Our teacher was very knowledgeable and clearly knows how to cook because I ordered sopes at Benito Juarez Mercado and while they were good they were missing the extra touches we learned in class (maybe the aciento 😊). Also a shout out to our teacher’s little team - her daughter and friend ❤️ both lovely helpers.

A fantastic afternoon of cooking! - We had a fantastic experience with Jazmin, cooking sopes, chicken enchiladas with mole sauce and ceviche. Everything was informative, delicious and hands-on fun! My absolute favourite was the mole sauce, something I plan to try making again at home. I also loved the ceviche! We tasted Mexican hot chocolate, mescal and had a cold Corona with our meal. Everything was excellent- highly recommend!

Cooking with Jazmin at Mexico on your plate. - Definitely one of the best side excursions I took while in Puerto Escondido. Jazmin is a wonderful instuctor and the food was delicious. Add that to being able to cook with others and the experience was phenomenal. Very highly recommended!

Fun experience - I went alone, but there were seven other people attending so we became a group of 8. Jasmin was immediatly friendly and welcoming, so that quickly all 8 of us felt comfortable and became friends. The event was fun and social as we joked and had fun while Jasmin took us through a few different courses.
The event was fun, but if I was to give constructive criticism it would be that some of the dishes she taught us were dependent on Mexican ingredients. For example, we made tacos (or tortadas?) with Oaxacan cheese and this salty Mexican greese sauce. Now, both the Mexican cheese and the greese sauce were delicious, but neither are ingredients I would find in my part of the world. As such it felt more like a 'discover Mexican tastes' course than a 'learn how to cook Mexican dishes'-course. In sum, if Jasmin could make it slightly more practical and instructive than I would have benefitted more from it. All in all though it was a fun experience and what I took away from it was how to make a good salsa.

No show - I showed up at the meeting point to find nobody around. I waited by the church for a half hour and nothing. I’ve requested a refund. I’ve been having such a positive experience on TA but today was very disappointing. I got the “confirmed “ email but no follow up email after that. I thought I would be fine just showing up. Which I did. I reached out to the operator but no response. Not sure what happened here but hopefully I can get my money back. I really wanted that cooking class! So disappointing.
