- El Santuario De Las Guacamayas - Upon meeting the guide, the group will embark on a 45-minute journey south into the mountains, arriving at the macaw conservation area. Participants will enjoy stunning panoramic views of the mountains. This location is one of the few in Mexico where macaws can be observed in their natural habitat. A presentation will be given on the conservation efforts to protect these bird species. After gaining insight, the group will walk along forest trails to witness the macaws in their natural environment, flying freely. Additionally, a visit to a viewpoint will offer breathtaking mountain views. After completing the hike and observation, transportation will be provided back to Puerto Vallarta.

Nice activity - Beautiful activity, Edouardo our guide is excellent. We can see how dedicated Francisco is to the cause. We were lent binoculars, but our experience would be more enjoyable with our own binoculars.

Highly recommend it! - It was a fun excursion and it did not start until 8 am. Most other bird tours start at 6 am. Ugh! Our tour guy Eddie was great.

Fantastic experience and educational too - Easy short tour in nearby mountains, with a hours walk in the jungle spotting macaws and other wildlife. My guide taught me all about the species and the conservation program . Very friendly too.

Wonderful! - It was an amazing experience full of emotions, you can not imagine how beautiful it is until you are there, I would definitely recommend it and if you are a nature lover you will love it 😍 our guide was super attentive, helpful and definitely masters perfect the information he gave us, super educational and didactic, do not miss this experience if you are in PV!

Beautiful Sanctuary of the Macaws - Excellent tour, the place is beautiful, to be able to observe and admire such beautiful beings as the Macaws is amazing, you also have the opportunity to observe more birds, I loved the experience!
