Amazing Experience - Sarengetti was absolutely beautiful our experience was AMAZING!! Nshama was the best guid ever we seen all the animals that we wanted to see and he was very informative the food was also Amazing!! One of the best adventures of my life!!

Absolutely Incredible for a Day Trip from Mwanza - Absolutely incredible tour of the western corridor. Our guide was passionate about the Serengeti wildlife and we were able to see more plants and animals than we had hoped! We appreciated the open jeep as well because it gave such a great view.

Shrike Safaris Earned All the Stars! - The experience with Shrike was excellent from start to finish. They aim to please and offer a very personal and memorable experience. Communication was great even before we left the US to get there. I felt very comfortable doing business with Mark. Their price was very reasonable, as well. Visiting Serengeti has been a dream of mine since I was about 7 or 8 years old. Watching animals shows with my dad was a favorite past time. We didn’t have a lot of time and wanted to maximize our stay in Zanzibar. and visit Serengeti. Mark delivered top notch service from start to finish. He arranged pick up from the airport in Mwanza and got us sorted at hotel that he recommended. We met with him in person and he was asked us what we dreamed of seeing. My husband can be a tough customer, but Mark’s excellent service won him over. Our driver, Henry was also amazing. We had a night of excellent food and service at the recommended hotel: Henry picked us up promptly at 5:30 am and we were off. We stopped for breakfast at campsite run by a local family. The eggs, pancake and fresh passion fruit and avocado juice was delicious. We were warmly welcomed with Tanzanian hospitality and wished we could have spent more time there. The drive to Serengeti was scenic and educational. Henry shared all of the facts as we drove. We learned quite a bit about the local way of life. As a school administrator I was very intrigued by the many school children all dressed in uniform walking to school. We arrived at Serengeti around 8:30 AM. Within a couple of hours, we were able to see most of what we came to see. We had seen so much, we had an early lunch. It was quite tasty. The beauty of Serengeti was all that I dreamed. As I allowed the wind to blow across my face as I stood atop and looked out from the Land Rover’s top, I felt immensely blessed to have had this experience. Mark and Henry with Shrike earned all of the stars.

Big 5 Big everything - Great experience in the Serengeti. Saw everyone we wanted to see, in abundance. Fantastic people, our guide James and tour director Mark from Shrike Safaris were awesome people. I would recommend this value for money experience to everyone.

Serengeti Day Tour - We had an excellent experience on our Serengeti Day Tour. Driver picked us up early morning from our hotel in Mwanza to drive us a few hours into the western entrance of Serengeti. We seen wildlife soon after we entered. Driver was great and made sure we saw a little bit of everything (elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, leopard and more). They served us breakfast & lunch. Great tour operator. Competitive price. Highly recommended.

1 Day Serengeti - Paul from Shrike Safaris was an exzellent Guide. He knows the top places. I have seen a lot. Best Safari I have ever done.

Enjoyable day Safari! - It was an enjoyable experience indeed.... Considering that we booked so last minute (2 days before) and that everything happened in one day, it all panned out very well! We were promptly picked up at 5.30am by Paul, our super cool Safari guide (he drove the whole day while helping us to spot the animals), napped comfortably for a couple of hours on our way to the Serengeti. Had a good breakfast (and also lunch later) before entering the national park.. weather was also amazing; sunny yet breezy .... We saw hundreds of wilderbeest, zebras, topis, a few giraffes and hyenas... our highlight was stumbling upon a pack of hippos, 6 elephants, 3 pairs of lions and then after a pride of 9 lions ... all in close proximity! We exited the park by 5pm and arrived back in Mwanza in time for dinner. Thanks for the wonderful experience Shrike Safaris! 👍👍👍

Beware, this is a scam!! - Beware! This tour is a scam. I paid for this tour, for 2 adults. Before arriving I sent a message, no response. Upon arrival we called the listed phone number of the operator (Shrike Safaris), the correspondent initially picked and said it was a wrong number. Then blocked the number. This was a horrible experience, we flew to Mwanza for this activity. How do we get a refund for the flights? Please tripadvisor and Viator should pull down this tour. Shrike Safaris are scammers!!
