During this excursion, you’ll see more facets of Uluru, all while engagingly understanding its environmental aspects, historical background, geological features and the native Indigenous culture.
- This activity is not recommended for those aged over 65 years old.
- This activity is an adventure activity and as such participants must;
- weigh between 45-117kg (99-257 pounds)
- Minimum age is 12 & children need to be accompanied by an adult
- be free from serious vision/balance impairments, illness or injury that may impact your ability to Segway.
- This activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with a history of serious spinal injury.
- Be fit enough to ride a bicycle
- This is an adventure tour and as such, participants are required to sign a waiver
- Travellers must be 12 years and older and weigh between 45-117kg
- Not recommended for those who do not have the fitness to ride a bicycle.

So fun and educational too! - This Segway tour was so much fun! We were hesitant about riding the Segway beforehand but there is a short training to begin and it was all we needed to get comfortable on them. Seeing Uluru on Segway is a unique experience and much more exciting than walking by foot. Our guide was very knowledgable and made frequent stops to show us specific areas and tell us their history. Definitely worth seeing Uluru this way, an amazing experience!

A must do at Uluru - My guide Syd was welcoming and attentive, knowledgeable about the history of the site. the group is relatively big and he managed the group very well and handled incidents (aggressive tourist ane a falling accident) appropriately so that the tour was enjoyable for everyone.

A great sunrise breakfast and a great Segway tour around the rock followed by a short walk to see the water hole - Our sunrise Segway tour around uluru was very good all of the staff were great and helpful and our tour guide Harley was 1st class with his knowledge of the rock and interaction with the tour group

A brilliant way to see Uluru - We opted for this Segway tour in place of a hike during this 40° heat and it didn't disappoint. Fantastic experience with knowledgeable, fun guides.
Breakfast is included with coffees, teas, muffins, croissants and more. We saw the sunrise hit Uluru and saw the colours on the face of the rock change.
We were taken around the base of Uluru, stopping along the way to learn about the geology, mythology, and history of this ancient place.
One of our group had to stop when feeling faint for a short while, and our guide was helpful, put no pressure on the person, and continually offered to help. Couldn't ask for more.
If you want to see Uluru, this is a great alternative to a hike.

Uluru Segway base tour with brkfast - Will was very knowledgeable and a really good storyteller. He and his mate do an awesome job taking us around the Uluru base and narrating stories as related to the rock

Superb Experience - Segway so much fun - The Segway full base of Uluru is a superb experience that will last long in the memory. Our tour guides (Dan and his colleague) were both brilliant from start to finish, made sure our group got everything possible out of the tour, and they both had great knowledge of the whole Uluru experience. Taking the Segway is a great way to travel around the whole rock. This was our first time on a Segway and it was just brilliant. The tour is worth every dollar.

Excellent fun way to see and hear about Uluru avoiding the heat and crowds. - Early start but best way to see sunrise at Uluru and avoid the heat and crowds circumnavigating the 9km base and back to resort by 10am.
Great guides who provide excellent culture history and information about Uluru.
Don’t worry if you have never done Segways before. I was the only one in my group who had, but following excellent instruction, everyone was up and going having fun in minutes. Excellent way to get around Uluru without a long hot walk (some of which is closed later in day)
TIP. Take a water bottle (you can refill at stops on route) and buy a $10 fly net for your head in the resort shops. If there is little wind , the flys landing on your face all the time can become very annoying

Very recommended. - With mom and dad opting for the sunrise segway, the morning at the end of September was still somewhat cold and saw a very soft uluru under the sunrise. The whole team will be divided into two groups of about 10 people each, each led by a staff member. Have plenty of time to practice and don't be afraid. Definitely the best way to not want to hike but to get a closer look at uluru, highly recommended!

It's an early start but... - It's an early start but the view is worth to see how the first sun rays hit Uluru. The Segway tour itself felt a bit rushed, they stop at specific places to explain about the history which was interesting and during hot days going around on a Segway is more convenient than walking but you do not get to stop when you'd like.
