Bimmah Sinkhole - • Located in Northern Oman, near the road between Dibab and Bimmah, this stunning natural phenomenon is a must-see. In a predominantly flat area, a sinkhole has formed about a third of a mile from the sea, creating a beautiful turquoise blend of fresh and saltwater.
Geologists have verified that the 65-foot deep pool is indeed a sinkhole, though local folklore suggests it was created by a meteorite impact.
